ah no matter how much stuff you do or dont have it really does not matter. It certainly does not detract from the awesome people and incredible fans we have on this site.
this is just such a fun place to hang out. Wish I joined up years ago.

I was actually wondering why you handn't! It seems like you're quite the SuperFan... And I know that I *have* to come here to talk to you guys because I know NO ONE in real life that wants to talk about Face's ties and how many times Hannibal *actually* said I LOVE IT WHEN A PLAN COMES TOGETHER...
It's weird, but can you believe there are SOME people that don't care about that stuff? Can you imagine? They're completely missing out on what is important in life.

The coolest thing, Rob, is how much effort you put into displaying your stuff for the photographs. LOL. It looks like you put a lot of effort into it. Very cute.

Rob: We are just happy you joined up at all. And I can understand not joining up years ago. Some sites come and go and are not very active at all. We have had that here from time to time as well, but it's nice to see the activity we do have here.

I actually never really researched many forum sites online to do with TAT so I guess I never really knew about this one. I used to belong to a mailing list years ago called onthejazz but I would maybe get 2 notifications a year if that. So I pretty much just hibernated in my own little a team world when I had the time. Then a few months back (work the night shift now and I hate it) I was bored and decided to surf for Ateam stuff and found this site and was blown away.... "where you been all my life" was my reaction.. haha.. since I joined up I feel at home. I have belonged to sooooooooo many Van Halen, firearms, martial arts forums over the years and I get so sick of the "keyboard commandos" that are arogant, disrespectful, flame happy and just pure jerks who think they know everything I stopped posting and just surfed for info. This site EVERYONE seems so nice, humble and downright cool not to mention we all have stuff in common and love the guys.... your right too sidney.. I love talking about faces's ties, hannibals reactions and just the kind of thing that most people would think is dumb as hell.... to me... thats what makes me tick. I get off on that stuff. I just wish I had more time to dedicate to other areas of the site. I barely have time to deal with this main ateam part. this site is cool and its the ONLY place I could ever post pics of my Ateam stuff and have people appreciate it. As I have said in another thread I have seen the episodes (each one) litterally hundreds and hundreds of times over the years and still watch them today my wife thinks its funny that I can quote any line from any episode at any given time..... it sounds stupid and I guess some people would think I am socially retarded (ha ha... ) but thats what has always kept me going all these years. I obvioulsy am into many other things as well and every once in a while I will take a break from TAT for a year or two but I AlWAYS come back to it and its like riding a bike.... it just is so natural, fun, enjoyable that it never, ever gets old to me. The difference now is there are others out there that appreciate and understand it as much as I do. I have always had to keep it for myself because no one around me has ever shown this kind of interest in the show that I knew of so for me, being a part of this site is absolutely huge and makes a 40 year old man feel 13 again.... its great... Aw... Well said, Rob! My husband barely tolerates my A-Team obsession. My colleagues make fun of me, and people look at me weird when my 3 year old daughter yells out "IT'S MURDOCK!" every time a chopper or plane goes by...
My husband bought me an autographed picture of Dwight and we just framed it. It's on the piano now with all the family photos of my three kids. (It really just went there because I had no where to put it and needed to get it out of reach of the children, but it's kind of funny there, so I may leave it.)

It sounds to me like your husband more than tolerates your A-Team obsession....sounds to me like he feeds it, buying you an autographed picture of Dwight! That is so nice of him.

You are *ALWAYS* feeding his ego. He literally says: "I like amyk. She's a nice lady." ...all the time...
A lot of wives are hard to buy for... What to get them for Christmas (Mr. T DVD)? Anniversaries (ATeam marathon)? Birthdays (ATeam picture)? Moms are hard to buy for... What to get them for Mother's Day? (Hot Wheels A-Team Van)
I am *NOT* hard to buy for. Not at all.

I haven't read the book yet, no. I've got a 'To Read' pile that is a mile high.
(Colonel, you are very right. Too bad that New Year's Resolution didn't last. What was I thinking? Giving up M&M's! That's just crazy!)

Rob: I'm glad you like it here. I tried to make a great forum, but it's the people that have made it. Not only the long-term members like Amy and Miz, but others like yourself and Sidney and everyone in between. We have lost some over the years, but it's great that we have new talent coming in all of the time. Sidney: Does Decker stop by anymore?

thanks . I love it here . I was thinking that it's too bad we could not all meet some weekend and have a little A Team convention, hang out, visit with each other, watch some episodes, share stories and just plain have an enjoyable weekend talking about what we all love so much . where??? in LA of course in the LA underground where the team resides . heck we could even invite Dirk, Dwight and T.... not that they would attend . ok sorry I guess I'm getting ahead of myself . ha ha

Wow....if this could only work out. Seriously, does anyone think it is possible? I'm going to be in the U.S. in July....would anyone want to actually try something like this then? I'm not planning to be in L.A., but maybe I could make a trip there....could kill two birds with one stone by trying to visit my sister who lives out there.

oh man I would love to meet in LA in July.... hot as hell but who cares. We would be held up in a hotel room anyways eating, chatting and drinking watching A-Team episodes.....
never been to LA. Been to SanFrancisco and Sandiego but never the home of The A Team. I would LOVE to meet some of you guys. We could even go on a little tour (Colonel you live in LA right? you could be the tour guide... ha ha) and search for A-team film locations... ha ha..
