I can see Murdock randomly reading classified ads too; I did this a lot when I was growing up. My parents got annoyed after a while when I called people about horses they had for sale. If Murdock was obsessed with planes and choppers as a child, he was probably nowhere near as bad as I was with horses. ;D

I think you are my long lost 1/2 sister, just like HD may be my long lost 1/2 brother! I was obsessed with horses too! I cannot even tell you how many Breyer horses I have, and of course they all had names. I eventually got a horse of my own (for my 16th birthday) and had him for nearly 20 years, until he died. And I used to have horses in my mind as well. No wonder I love Murdock so much.

If you ever get another one, will it be called Thunder or Wacko? (That's "Waco," Murdock!) You could be my half-sister. I'm adopted. (After watching FAMILY REUNION last night, who knows?) Waaay too many Twilight Zone moments on this board.

I love the Wacko "That's Waco, Murdock!" thing. Actually, wouldn't it be fun to have race horses named after the team?! I can just hear this...."And here comes H.M. Murdock flying down the stretch, but looks like Hannibal Smith has a plan to catch him. B.A. Baracus is bumping the other horses...he'll surely be disqualified....and Faceman Peck is sneaking up along the rail!"

You read my mind again, Amy! (cue Twilight Zone music) I had another idea for a story involving the Team and horse racing called THE MUDSUCKER PROXY. I'll email you the specifics. I play a virtual horse racing game called DigiTurf every now and then, and "Captain Murdock" *would* make a great name for a horse, now that I think of it. ;D

If the guys imagined themselves as famous figures from history/previous lives, who do you think they'd choose? (Hannibal's namesake notwithstanding!)
Hannibal: General Patton, or maybe Francis Marion (the Swamp Fox during the American Revolution, as played by Leslie Nielsen in a Disney movie)
Face: Casanova
Murdock: Geoffrey Chaucer or perhaps a "nice" version of Rasputin
B.A.: John Henry

I'll make them all be Biblical figures -
Hannibal: Nehemiah (was a good planner but could also kick some butt - see Nehemiah 13:25 if interested)
B.A.: Samson (because of his strength)
Murdock: definitely one of the prophets, who often had to do things that are pretty "out there" - I’ll say Ezekiel, since he had pretty bizarre visions and had to do some seemingly bizarre acts for prophetic symbolism.
Face: the lover in Song of Songs
