Mad Dog Murdock? Maybe that is how his nickname is translated in some other language, I mean where the translation literally means that? And I also do not like to consider either Amy or Tawnia as team members, although I admit that Hannibal has introduced Amy as a team member I believe twice (in BEAST and also in TAXICAB WARS). The books were published in the UK, apparently for some reason overseas they DO call him Mad Dog Murdock, somebody called his character that when Dwight and Dirk made a public appearance in...I think it was Belgium.

Thank you for explaining, Sophia. I do have to say I like Howling Mad Murdock better. I appreciate your response. That's neat the books were published in the U.K. Ok, I forgive the writer for calling him Mad Dog! Amyk, I was also raised not to use bad language and it makes me uncomfortable, too.I usually avoid books that use excessive bad language...it's simply not necessary. A good, compelling story can be told without curse words.

I never heard anything about a book but I do know three A-Team comic book issues were made in 1983 when the show first came out. I own all three of them. They all include Amy in them. Those would be cool collector items.

There’s a whole series of published books. I got the one on the escape and first few jobs. It had some good parts but during the escape Hannubal suddenly became a helicopter pilot stole Lynchs helicopter and flew Face and BA away. Murdock was sane despite onky Just arriving at the VA and the author threw canon out the window. So I’ve not tried any other of the books

At one point I had the entire series of novelisations which I later sold on Ebay as I never really read them. I was put off after reading the novelisation of the pilot where Hannibal asked Murdock if he'd been making pornographic ink blots in the VA!

I think I will just pretend that the show is the only canon there is.

That does not sound like something Hannibal would have actually said on the show to me.

it doesn't sound like something Hannibal would say or that Murdock would do. plus it was just really weird for a piece of tie in merchandise aimed primarily at children!
