I apologize but I have not had a chance to watch this one yet - I will try in the next couple of days. So working from memory my rating would be a 7
This is an ok episode for me - I really do not like the ouji board Murdock uses in this one. There are some funny lines like the " how does a bologna on whole wheat sound?" And of course the fact the the bad guys are defeated by a cabbage cannon is hysterical
I will try to watch this one soon and maybe my opinion will change

This is the one where the van jumps through the billboard/over the missing bridge, right? I don't remember much else, but do love that part, and of course how Hannibal taunts Decker from the other side. I also love the cabbage cannons.

I gave this one an 8. I watched it Saturday. I don't like the ouji board thing either. But other than that, I think it is quite a good episode. I think the mother of the boy (who the bad guys threaten) does a good job acting afraid for her son. That part can even bring tears to my eyes. I feel so bad for her, not wanting to say where the meeting is going to take place, but of course she has to do what is best for her son. I always love the cabbage cannon.
Yes, this is when the van makes multiple jumps - twice through the 55 mph billboard (once near the beginning and then again right at the very end, just as the sign has apparently been finished being repaired), and yes this one also has the Topeko Pass jump. Speaking of which - why wouldn't Decker try to fire a gun at Hannibal? Is that too great a distance to be able to hit him with a bullet?

This was a sweet episode. Agree, the scene with the mum and boy was quite harrowing, the pickers seemed a little on the thick side, i found the ouija board thing a bit uncomfortable, but other than that, I liked it. Especially the fact that BA and Face had a couple of nice scenes together. So I was thinking about the motel room that we saw before the team checked out - there was a king size bed and two twin beds. I'm assuming Amy had a separate room. So I was thinking about sleeping arrangements - who slept where? I can't imagine BA agreeing to share a double with Murdock.... Actually, I can't imagine anyone wanting to share a bed with Murdock cause he would be too annoying and encroach on personal space and wake them up too early like in TIMBER. So I'm gonna put Murdock in the twin. And I'm guessing Hannibal might have gone in the twin too... cause he's the leader and would probably say it's his prerogative as leader to get a bed to himself so he can need to get a good sleep and plan better. (Like in THERE'S ALWAYS A CATCH when he doesn't want to go diving cause he plans better dry). So actually I think BA and Face would have ended up in the double. Face seems really easy-going (am thinking back to RANGE RIDER when he was the one sat in the middle in Amy's cramped car) and would be okay having to share. I don't think BA would mind sharing with Face either, they both seem low-maintenance in this episode. A couple of other things - Loved Face's fist pump when the cabbage canon is revealed. He seemed to be genuinely enjoying it, like it wasn't beneath him to be holding a cabbage canon. Also Murdock looks sweet too, filling the canon with gusto. A sweet moment. And no guns or anti-seed (plant one and watch something die - Mad Max). Also another thing this forum has taught me is to watch the end credits cause there's different stuff / angles sometimes. Anyway saw this pic, looks like they were all having a giggle, but I don't remember it being in the episode.

There's also at least one time that one of the opening clips is something which isn't in the actual episode. And I noticed a closing clip for BELLS OF ST. MARY'S that I think may not have been in the actual episode. I've never noticed it for LABOR PAINS, though.
I love the cabbage cannon. I was just telling my fiance about the cabbage canon and the lumber cannon (from TIMBER!) the other day.

Oh cool will look out for that when I watch that episode.
Ooh yeah the lumber cannon! That might be a good one for blokes to watch - my husband really liked that episode because of that. Hopefully your fiancé will like that one too.

My boyfriend decided to throw tomatoes at mewhen I told him about that! He hasn't seen the A Team since he was a kid & didn't watch it all the time like I did, so maybe I'll introduce him to it properly soon!

I wonder if that scenein your picture was one they decided not to put tin the end or if it was just of them altogether in between filming scenes & they thought they'd put it in at the end credits.

I think I may have already mentioned the cabbage cannon at some time....but I don't think I'm making any progress converting my husband to be an A-TEAM fan, sadly. But I love him anyway.

Yeah Kellie I'd like to think that it was in between takes. It shows they had fun off-camera!
Oooh yes you do have to watch the end credits! Although I have to admit, I don't watch the clips scene at the beginning cause I didn't want to spoil it- and then (due to this forum) I only just realised that they arrange the clips in a particular way, so it will have a character saying something, then switch to another (unrelated) clip except it's as if it's continuing on and answering the previous clip in a funny way. (I didn't explain that very well but hope that made sense!). So I've just missed like 3 seasons worth of them doing that!

Really?! They only seem to show clips from series 4. Don't know if that's the same everywhere. I never ever watch the clips either! I always think it ruins the show you're watching, I mean they practically show you half the show before it actually comes on! Quite a few shows do it. Maybe the best thing to do is watch the episode first, then go back & watch the clips, for the funny way it's arranged like you said. I didn't know they arranged the clips in an order like that either! Typical A-Team idea though.

Oh, the clips are so great, so I strongly encourage you to watch them. I don't think they will ruin an episode. Paper Crane Song is right that they are often arranged to be quite funny. In fact....I dug up my old thread about the clips: theateamforum.proboards.com/thread/560/top-preview-clipsThat thread lists the "top ten" preview clips, i.e. what I think are the best ten preview clips. So if you want to watch only ten of them, those are the ones I recommend!

I'll do that, I'll have to watch the clips. That's something new for me to check out. Let's face it, it's not like we don't know what's gonna happen in the episodes anyway! ☺️. On my DVD's clips are only shown on seasons 4 & 5. It's the same when shown on TV, only 4 & 5.

That's strange because on my DVDs, there are no clips for season 5. In fact, that's one more reason why season 5 is not as good as the other seasons!
