I just always feel like the Nazi thing is thrown in at the last few minutes. I think it comes into the episode with about 15 minutes or so remaining, but for a 2-parter, that does feel like "the last few minutes." Maybe there is more remaining than I realize. If I remember the next time I'm ever watching this one (which could be about five years from now!), maybe I'll try to figure out when they first see the Nazi salute. That's when I feel that this whole Nazi plot just gets thrown in. I also think it is weird that Brian says that his father had dealings with Ritterman even though he suspected him of being a Nazi.
And one more thing about this episode.....when they decide to go and get more men for fighting from El Cajon, why does Hannibal go and confront El Cajon first. That could have led to trouble and was unnecessary, as Bobbie could have gone and talked to him and explained the situation. She comes in anyway as Hannibal and El Cajon are talking, which is when El Cajon asks if she has been hurt by the team.

Murdock and Face were close because Dwight and Dirk were so close. I think that's what it comes down to. They like to tell how the crew would get them mixed up all the time and call them by each other's name. They were a united front against the madness that was T's and George's (alleged) egos. They just clicked with a lot in common and their chemistry really made Face and Murdock better. I don't think Murdock clicked with Fake(!)Face in the pilot. Dirk and Dwight were something special. Yes that's a valid point Sidney, i always felt the connection between Murdock and Face in the pilot just wasn't as strong as the connection when Dirk came on board. The chemistry between Dwight and Dirk is so evident throughout all the episodes and makes watching it even more joyful. As you say there didn't seem to be a 'click' between Dwight and Tim, I really wish we could've had a different pilot episode involving Dirk but the joys of TV shows and contracts eh..

I wonder if that chemistry would have developed between Dwight and Tim, though, if Tim had stayed on.

It could have done Amyk, who knows? If Tim had stayed on I'm sure we would still be talking about it 40 years on but having said Dirk and Dwight hit it off straight away in 'Jameston' looking at them you would think they went back years as good mates.. Sadly i don't see/feel that while watching Dwight with Tim

I agree that they seemed to be good friends right from JAMESTOWN and certainly in PROS AND CONS when they are playing around at the table in the tag scene at the end of the episode.

This one was a pretty good episode again....it made me laugh so bad how Hannibal "convinced" B.A to fly with them(how he showed him the milk..and B.A already fell asleep.)....and than the coffin....that was one (if not the best) way they transported B.A by plane. And the end were Murdock almost shot B.A...
Am I wrong or is this the last episode with Tawnia? because there plan was to stay there...(if I got that right....)

Yeah, it was the last Tawnia episode-- this is how they got rid of her. At least Tawnia got a happy ending, I guess.
(I wonder if that was always part of the point of it, or if it was a piece of the plot they added later once they decided to get rid of Marla Heasley? Technically they could've left out the wedding bit and Brian could've been just another client, so it would've been easy for it to go either way.)

I do wish they had a farewell episode for Amy. I'm glad that they at least had one for Tawnia.
