Doesn’t Murdock have the feather earrings in to? That’s the same as the bricks and we can see them. Not sure if it makes him crazy or not, but very funny still

The feather earrings were totally for Hannibal's benefit. Why else would he wear them?

You’re both wrong the feather earrings are for the van so she knows her real dad hasn’t abandoned her. Incase they need to jump a gap in a bridge The the van will try harder for the driver if they have the earrings in. But we all know what happens when the old girl (van) realises she’s been conned (van throws herself in to the water)

Okay, thanks for setting the record straight. But would the van really throw herself into the water with BA inside, especially knowing how much that would upset BA?

Okay, thanks for setting the record straight. But would the van really throw herself into the water with BA inside, especially knowing how much that would upset BA? Maybe to pay him back for letting the others drive her? murdock was behind the wheel for at least one van swim. Plus the old girl knows daddy will come along, dry her out and fix her up good as new in time for the next mission. So she can safely have a tantrum and still knkw her family love her

How do you think they got the van out of the water after what happened in HOT STYLES?
And how did they get the van back from the MPs after what happened in RANGE RIDER? Do you think it was something similar to how they got it back in SHOWDOWN?

So up to this one and...
Well its not one that really gets going to me. The lack of B.A really hurts it i feel. Just throws the whole dynamic off.
It almost feels like a Face spin-off show with Hannibal and Murdock joining up with him for this episode

Oh, I'm so glad nobody got that "bright idea" - to try to have a spin-off show with one of the team members! I know some spin-off shows have been successful, but some, not so much (JOANIE LOVES CHACHI anyone???).

My least fav episode of Season Three and one of my least favs of the series. Not much happens in this one. I missed BA. They have some good things going but I wanted that expanding outwards.

I rewatched this one today. I really enjoyed it, but reading this thread I realise it's not a very popular episode. It's not perfect by any means, but I don't think it's bad at all. Yes, BA is missing and that does have an overall effect because it's never right when one of the team is missing. We don't even get to know where he went. It might have been less of a wrench if they had given a really good reason for his absence. However, I loved the idea of Murdock wearing gold and feather earrings to be more like BA so the van wouldn't miss him! I would have prefered it if he'd actually proved to BA that he was capable of taking care of the van instead of driving it into the water at the end of the ep, though!
I really felt for Face. He seemed to really love Rina (maybe because she reminded him of Lesley? ) and was genuinely heartbroken as it all unravelled. I think someone on here has said before that Face falls in love with all the girls he dates - or at least he believes he's in love with them - and this time the relationship had some time to develop so he must have thought it was something special. He shouldn't have lied to her about who he really was, but I suppose when he first met her he didn't know it would be any different than with other girls he dates only once or twice. Then the more time passed the harder it was for him to come clean. Besides, as they pointed out, she also lied to him about her past. I do think it's a real shame they brought back Markie Post to play Rina when she'd already played such an important character in a previous episode.
The idea of them hiring some old ladies to make all the new outfits was hilarious, but a bit daft - I'm sure they could have found some existing clothes to use for the photos instead.
I enjoyed the action on the boat and it was good that Face knew Rina would give the game away - he's not that easily fooled, even by someone he has strong feelings for.
Overall I thought it was a good episode (would have been better with BA, of course) with some excellent character development for Face.

I do like this episode and if only BA were in it, I think I would like it a lot more. I think it has a somewhat interesting plot. It's a bit different from the more common "bad guys exploit small business owner" type plot. I also love the elderly ladies making the clothing and commenting about how exciting it is or whatever that one lady says. And I still think Murdock's fashion designs are hilarious. (But I do think it would have been the icing on the cake to have something in a tag scene indicate that Murdock's fashions were now the hit of the fashion world!)

That's a great idea for the tag scene.

This episode was great again! (now you see why its my favourite TV show, all the episodes are great! Murdock pretending to be BA... that made me laugh a lot! I loved Hannibals plan! Creating his own collection was brilliant! Of course did Faceman scam the sewing machines....! I was wondering where they got them. now it makes sense! Because Hannibal said "you keep the sewing machines we keep the collection" But I have one question: Where was BA?Does someone know what happend to him?

I know The ATeam are super powered and can disassemble a truck and bury it in a matter of minutes and then reassemble it just as fast, so I guess they can do anything. Yup, yup-- unrealistic, as always... which to me is part of the fun! BA should have done the designs. He had the most fashion-sense. Hear me out! Murdock wore the same pair of pants and a tshirt every day. BA took risks, made bold choices, and combined elements you'd never combine! He should have been the designer. I actually think it would have been more believable! YES! I want this! (Actually, I'm trying to think... are there episodes where B.A. takes a really active role? Hannibal does, of course. Face at times. Murdock, especially in S5. But B.A.?)
Do you think Face would have been interested in Rena had he known about the boy ahead of time? Were there other episodes where the girl he dated had a kid? I'm thinking about TIMBER!, but did he ever pursue her? I remember him being flirtatious, but I don't think he put the moves on her, did he? I'm going to have to watch that one again. In my notes, I have: Oh, come on, Face. He wasn't going to settle down for this chick, let alone a chick with a kid. I can't see Face being a stepdad, or wanting to put up with a kid around all the time. The feather earrings were totally for Hannibal's benefit. Why else would he wear them? To be funny! Isn't that why Murdock does anything? I noted here that DS takes the opportunity of "Murdock is wearing a bunch of gold rings" to have his wedding ring on (it's pretty obvious, since it's plain, unlike the rest of the rings). That's so cute. So up to this one and... Well its not one that really gets going to me. The lack of B.A really hurts it i feel. Just throws the whole dynamic off. It almost feels like a Face spin-off show with Hannibal and Murdock joining up with him for this episode Yeah, it feels so "off" with one person gone. But I have one question: Where was BA?Does someone know what happend to him? B.A.... no. MT... was this around the time of Rocky and maybe there was a filming schedule conflict?
