I know but the tv channel what showed The A Team back in the late 80s/early 90s were well known for heavily cutting down episodes to fit into the hour time slot which included advert breaks x2 sometimes even x3 if my memory is correct. I remember actually thinking that was the last ever episode in the series and that the series ended on a low with Face being killed (I was gutted thinking that was the end) That is so mean of the TV channel to cut at that point. I also recorded eps in the late 1980s ans early 1990s and can attest to sometimes random cuts. They were often for "adult themes". In my CRYSTAL LAKE VHS recording, they cut as soon as the bad guys invade the station, and they remove the bit later about the bad guy thinking that he had killed Hannibal and the ranger. In DOCTOR all Murdocks drug hallucinations were expunged. On the other hand, they cut the opening segment of INSANE WAYNE about the ink blots for no discernible reason, apart from timing. The ep started when they got out that van at the cafe.

I can't recall many from the top of my head which were cut apart from Without Reservations, I really don't recall seeing the next scenes showing Faceman recovering on the couch until the dvd release. ITV/Granada in the UK were always cutting stuff from what I've heard and they always showed episodes out of order not unless it was a two parter

I do understand they have to cut for extra commercial time when showing reruns, but that seems so wrong to cut out such important stuff. Hopefully they cut the limo scene out of BENEATH THE SURFACE (with Face and Rebecca)!!

Maybe it was considered too "steamy"?

When The A-Team used to air as repeats on Spike in the UK they cut the bit where Murdock nearly gets hanged. I watched a video recently from someone in the UK who said that some channels only had the rights to air the Pilot three times in the UK. Was an interesting video

We chat on messenger/Facebook if it is, this is Retro/Richard? I remember seeing this episode as a child many times but yeh as you point out the scene showing Murdock about to be hanged was something that must've been cut because don't recall seeing it as a kid. I'm really surprised the writers getting away even filming that back in the day, weren't censorships more strict back then? ^ If it's blocked in your country try this version

Yeah, but there was no PG-13 ratings back then for movies, so they either had to be PG or R.

I have no idea what "U" or "12" means! U= universal and suitable for all 12 = suitable for 12 years and above

I know that I have VHS (somewhere) that has original music in the episodes, but also cut scenes. Like when Murdock was tunneling out of the VA. That entire scene was pretty much skipped.
