Hey, Colonel! This one starts out in Australia! Does it actually look like Australia? Did they pick a good place to pretend it was Australia? still looks like California to me, and we have steering wheels on the right, not left, no idea though if jeeps were ever made with RHD the guy with the slouch hat looks good, australian If I recall correctly, the airfield is definitely Indian Dunes, the old filming location north of LA that the A-Team used regularly. The other 'Australian' scenes are probably also Indian Dunes.

from memory this is like an indiana jones rip off isn't it? Worse. And without the benefit of Harrison Ford (*sigh*). At least we get Murdock flying! How many times in Season 5 does Murdock fly? Rarely. But why did they jump? Nowhere to put it down? And now Murdock gets his pick of all the women. I do like that if he even doesn't please one woman, that's proof that he's not a king. Heh. That was one of the ones where I was thinking I wouldn't want to be having to explain that one to kids... But I adore how he goes all feminist. Surprised me (it seemed sort of out of left field; neither the show nor Murdock are usually prone to such blatantly-feminist statements), but I love it.
I love Murdock. He doesn't want her to serve him. Would Hannibal or Face ever say this? Would Frankie? I believe BA would. I could almost MAYBE see it coming out of Hannibal's mouth. MAYBE. In the right circumstances. (then again, wait until I get to the thread about the fire-station episode and I'll talk about Hannibal's idea of respecting women...) Murdock has the cutest dimple up high, behind the apple of his cheeks. It's so darling. *sigh* Now you know I'm going to be watching for this, lol. Even if the goo protects his feet, wouldn't his pant legs get set on fire? Heh. Good point. Anybody else think he has really funny-looking feet?
Hitting Murdock with a rock like that would probably cause quite the concussion. As B.A. would say: who'd ever know the difference... lol Did Frankie just say 'Ooga booga'? And now they're cannibals. Hannibal just said that to Stockwell. It just all seems like cheap storytelling. Maybe it would have been okay twenty years prior on Gilligan's Island or something... Wooooowwwww... Although I assume Hannibal was being sarcastically over-dramatic for effect?
Honestly, though, there was racist stuff that made me cringe way more than this episode, unfortunately...
I like that Murdock is worried about Lisa, but are they trying to manufacture an actual relationship between them? I never figured that out. I don't think they mean to imply the two ever actually got "married" or that Murdock had to, um... prove anything... with her. I sort of assumed he was simply worried about a woman, as well as I guess the slight "relationship" that "hey, this person did sort of get picked to marry me" so she wasn't a completely-random person. (Then again, at the end she does kiss him and want him to come back, which almost sort of implies there was something... but I just didn't really get anything like that from the rest of the episode.)
BA's laughing because Murdock has to fight. I never figured out what was so funny about that... I actually don't think BA would have been good balancing on that and fighting with a staff. Nah, but he would've just picked the guy up and tossed him in the water, the end. LOL.
