Murdock used to bring his girlfriends to Tarzana to watch the chimneys smoke. My sister lives not far from Tarzana, and I get a kick out of seeing signs for it if I'm visiting her and we're near it or even perhaps in it. (Hard to tell when you're in one place or the next as they all just seem to run into each other out in LA, in my opinion.) For me, Tarzana will probably always be associated with THE A-TEAM and of course this particular episode.

Tina Louvelle is the neighbour from ALF. She's also the lady at some records place that the lawyer friend of Mrs. Baracus and Face have to scam in order to gain some information in LEASE.

Did you have the commercial back in the 80s where they asked: Excuse me, do you have any grey poupon? That's what the guy in the back of BA's cab reminds me of when he asks in the snooty voice: Excuse me, but what is going on? YES! I remember that commercial. Maybe that guy was even in it?

I don't like the use of the r word. Different time in 1983/84. We used to use awful words. I think that in another 30-40 years words that we use today and think are fine to use will likely be considered awful.

Kathy, Thomas, and Cal Freeman. They are the owners of the cab company. There was one more guy, but I didn't get his name. He's the guy at the beginning who apparently is in the hospital for the rest of the episode...kind of like Speed in BEVERLY HILLS ASSAULT. In both episodes, I think it would have been nice for the tag scene to show those guys out of the hospital and healing. Also the dad in THERE'S ALWAYS A CATCH.

Did someone see the "mistake" in this episode that (obviously) no one of the editing or production crew noticed, it is the following one: In the scene where B.A is getting in trouble for the first time while picking up the elderly couple: At first the couple is outside of the cab, in the next "cut" where B.A is throwing the bad guy over the top of the taxi there are inside of the cab.....and one second later they are on the outside again.

Yes i spotted that mistake a few years ago, bad editing but the series has a few goofs like this just makes the series more special to me 'warts n all's Taxicab Wars is definitely up there as one of the greatest perfect episodes from the entire series, it's got it all 👌

So these are actual paying clients. Sort of. Don't they get paid with a percentage of the company? I've just been noticing in our chart that it's all volunteer jobs. The team is never getting paid. I've noticed they seem to have a lot of "investment" type payments, as in shares of a company. That's never explicitly stated, but they're mentioned later. That makes sense; depending on the business, it might be a better deal for them than just a one-time payment, and means they'd have guaranteed income in case there's a slump in jobs. I'm trying to think if you ever actually see the team getting paid Rarely, though I don't think that's meant to imply they never get paid, just that we don't see it. (Because there are more exciting things to spend air time on.) He introduced Amy as part of the team. That moment has upset people so much. They are into the second season now. He can call her part of the team now if he wants to. She's definitely proven herself by this point. She's saved their butts a few times. I mean, I can see the difference... The A-Team goes back to Vietnam, Amy doesn't have the same stakes (she's not running from the military, though I suppose she is now-- in some ways I guess the consequences will be more dire for her if they get caught because the guys are already screwed, but her whole life would be toast just for hanging out with them), etc. But, she can be part of the modern-day team. (And besides, what else would they call her? A groupie? Hanger-on? Accessory? Helper?) (Did Frankie ever get to be called part of the team? Amy was twice-- the other time was in "Beast From The Belly Of A Boeing." I don't think Tawnia ever was-- in fact, in her first episode, Face specifically pointed out to her that she wasn't on the team...)
Murdock used to bring his girlfriends to Tarzana to watch the chimneys smoke. I still haven't figured this out. When did he have the time to have girlfriends? I always thought he probably joined the military at 18... got shipped off to Vietnam... then came back and went into a mental hospital. I guess maybe he had time between deployments? Or I suppose it's possible he meant high school girlfriends, though I was never certain exactly when Murdock ended up in L.A., since from the accent he's clearly not originally from there. (Then again, I always sort of thought this line was sarcasm... either that or I bet he didn't have many second dates... {unless it was a euphemism for something and they kept plenty busy up there not watching anything at all. *cough*}) Do you think you could really paint a car like that? If you could, it would be an awesome business. People would change their car colours like they change their hair colours. Could always plasti-dip it, though IMO that's time-consuming and expensive enough... Hannibal doesn't answer when the main client guy asks if Murdock is okay and that he doesn't seem quite normal. LOL. What do you answer to that question?? I know they're stealing from the bad guy, but I like it better when they convince the bad guys to give the money rather than when they steal it. I like when they con it.

Yes, I've noticed that before. That's a pretty big editing error! And welcome to the forum. I can't remember if I've welcomed you yet or not.

Thank you! I can´t remember as well.
And lets face it....even if they saw this mistake after editing it....Iam sure it was not easy to re-do the editing so they probably said "nahh just leave it like that....who will notice it anyway...

I wonder if they had any inkling that 40 years later people would be analyzing every little detail. I also think they didn't really strive for perfection with the show and didn't really care that much about things like editing errors. They very obviously show stuntmen and didn't make a big attempt to hide them. I don't think they were looking to ever be awarded any Emmy for the show although they certainly put a lot into it, both financially and otherwise.
