My Face is more sensitive, I guess. My Face is concerned with his looks, sometimes can be superficial, and he's not perfect. He bends the law, whines a little, and is a victim to his addiction to love and a pretty girl. He means well though, and deep down is a hero and always wants to make up for his mistakes. That's pretty much my Face, too!

My Face also is somewhat sensitive. He wants to be loved for who he is, but he is afraid to let people really know the real Templeton Peck. So he mainly puts up a front, although he is concerned about his looks, etc. But that is because he thinks he has to be this person in order to be loved. But I also view him as a true hero, but very flawed. And to me, that makes him very relatable since, after all, we are all flawed in some way.

Oh, yes. They're all flawed, but endearing.

Maybe Hannibal can't admit it that Murdock is indeed crazy because he wants him to be alright. Which reminds me of something else I sort of had rolling through my head before: adds a bit of darkness to the show, but the idea that B.A. acts like he can't stand Murdock because he can't deal with the idea of Murdock being insane, as in, can't deal with a person being able to be that messed-up by war. So while he may not say it, and may not even realize it himself, it's not Murdock he's annoyed with, but Murdock's combat-induced mental state.
Or, here's a fun one: if Murdock is insane (or, only started pretending to be post-war): what do you suppose he was like before? I mean, as I've said, I've imagined he's always been a quirky, creative, funny guy, but... what if he really was different? What if he was always Serious!Murdock before the war?

That's an interesting thought. I just figured he was always kind of this goofy, lovable guy but that the war did sort of push him over the edge too a bit of insanity (although never criminally insane or dangerous insane).
