I hate to say it (OK, maybe I don't), but, some of the guys we've seen randomly from Photobucket or Fanpop dressed up as the Team would be better choices from the movie than these guys! ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) In some ways I can see the need to update some things (OK, again, maybe not), but it's like taking a '65 Mustang and saying it's old and out of date and needs a "contemporary" makeover. I like the new Mustangs, but you don't mess with a classic. ;D

I think they should have made a movie of those guys doing the A-Team musical....that I would probably want to see if only to see how on earth they make a musical out of TAT! ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

I would be just happy if they left the show alone. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png) I loved it the way it was.

Tania, But how "Face" is he? I don't think I've seen anything Bradley Cooper has done. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Miz, did you finally get to see District 9? Because I watched it. And I shall never forget it. I lack the words to describe how disgusting and stupid this awesome movie "with a deep meaning" was...

when shows or movies i like get remade I like to watch things that have the new actors in to picture them as the charactors.

When I finally see this, I am actually not going to compare them to the original - since that seems like a recipe for disaster. They can't be the originals, so it would be a failure from the get-go. When remakes try to replicate things too much, it is often a flop.
For example, when they remade Batman, Battlestar Gallactica, and now "V", it is with fresh perspective. And each time it worked (for the most part).
In cases where they try to replicate or poke fun at the original (I think of I, Spy, Brady Bunch, Starsky and Hutch) it tends to not work well.
So, I will look and see if they have good character development, a good, solid story line, and a good working dynamic. It won't be as good as the original. It can't be. But it can be different and wonderful - if they do it right.
