I am trying to figure out what episode contains the following B.A quote.
"I pity the fool, thug or soul that tries to take over the world, then goes home cryin' to his mama"
Does anyone know which episode this is from?
thanks

Sorry, can't help you with that one. I don't remember that quote, and I have recently watched seasons 1-3 and am in the middle of season 4, so maybe it is from the latter half of season 4 or from season 5.

Welcome to the forum. I am not sure that IS a quote from the A-TEAM. A lot of people remember the concept of pitying the fool from Mr. T and associate it with the A-TEAM, but I do not think he says it once in the entire series.

Now that you mention that, HD, I don't recall B.A. ever using the phrase "I pity the fool" on the show. In fact, generally the only one he ever calls "fool" is Murdock...usually seems like he calls him "crazy fool". The bad guys more often seem to be "suckers."

According to imdb.com, it is one of the memorable quotes for the show. I can for the life of me find it though.

To me, it seems like "Play it again, Sam" from CASABLANCA, which Humphrey Bogart does not in fact say! Nor does Alec Guinness ever say "May the Force be with you" in STAR WARS.
I guess "I love it when a plan comes together" is THE essential quote for the show. ;D

Your link does not work. Also, IMDB is very much like Wikipedia to some degree...it is not checked for facts a lot. I will watch, as I am sure everyone else here will, but I have never heard Mr. T say that in all of my years viewing the show...even though most people commonly claim that he does. I only saw that quote online at one place and there was no episode reference to it...and usually people will leave that reference so you know which episode. I am not saying it is not in there, but I do not recall it. I think it might have been from the TV show I PITY THE FOOL.

I thought it may be fun to revive some of these old threads.
And I believe I can definitively say that B.A. never ever says "I pity the fool" in any episode, now that I have watched them all so many times. If someone wants to prove me wrong, go to it! ;D

He never did, to my knowledge, either. He did call Murdock "crazy fool" all the time; in fact, B.A.'s signature line to me was "Shut up, fool!" ;D ;D
