Hey, anyone else having troubles logging in? I've tried it a few times and I keep on getting a error message.
I know you guys have had a few of these problems from the update but do they effect you logging in? I ask because I use Google Chrome and I have had these types of messages on different sites too.
So, is it Chrome or the update?
Btw, "watch C-beams glitter" - best security check eva! ;D

I have been getting error messages all the time since I told amyk I wasn't. I know it's affecting her so much, she's been unable to post more than a couple of times a day because 1 post takes her so long to get through all the error messages. (I MISS HER SO MUCH!)
However, I am using CHROME. I've also used EXPLORER.
Try something different though. Using CHROME, I've been unable to enter a lot of stuff in different sites. It's like it doesn't even recognize that I've done it.

Sidney is right....I'm so frustrated that I often am not posting now and may even be missing a lot on here. To get one post, I have to often try to post anywhere from 3-5 times. I first type the post in the "Quick Reply" but make a copy of it, hit the "reply" button three times with right-click to try to get at least one reply option to open up. And even when they open up, that does not mean my reply is going to post. If anyone knows how I may fix this, please let me know. The most common error message is error 706: "Failure To Read Response." I occasionally get errors on other websites, but nothing at all like on this one. I would love to come back on this site more "full-time" but it is too frustrating and time-consuming for me to keep trying to really post everything I would like to.

Arg! No go. I do log in but as soon as I click on a thread or another link to take me to another section of the forum, I am logged back out again. It is all very odd and I think I might have to take a few cleaners to my computer - it might be that for all I know.
Are there any noticeable changes on the site? What has this update actually done besides cause errors?

I *think* I noticed a change. When I come to the page, the thing that tells me how many private messages I have comes up first at the very top when it used to come up at the same time beside the banner.
All I know is, I miss our conversations. Because of the forum bugs, neither of you are posting and it makes me sad.

Have you tried clearing out the cache in your browser?

Did you try kicking something and screaming really loud? Might not fix the logging in problem, but will make you feel better!

While I myself haven't had the 706, I do experience one problem - I log in, I'm in, next moment I'm having to hit refresh. I end up doing that several times before it gives in.

One thing I do know about servers (which forums are hosted on) is that anytime there's some kind of an upgrade or an update, it usually takes a while before all of the kinks are worked out of the system and the glitches that people encounter settle down. It happens all the time like this with Second Life.

the forum is working fine for me from home and at work on multiple different computers
I think it must be down to computer issues or browser incompatibilities, limitation issues with the forum.

I'm on Linux. Maybe that's the difference.....but I feel like a miracle has happened! I have opened up all the threads I want and not a single 706 error! This is like the first time this has happened in a very long time, so maybe the kinks are worked out!
