Hello, I come from Poland, so my english might be awful sometimes.  I very sorry for that. I understand a lot, but I have problem with gramm. I read your forum from time to time and I find it very friendly and full of informations. The A-Team show was very popular in my country in '90. I tried to watch every episode. It was hard to find anything about cast for example. One month ago I found full show on Internet and I realize, that I love it like in '90. Then I find you. It is very nice to know, that The A-Team still have fans. It is fun how in polish TV they translate some of names and pseudos. They have problem with Murdock, most of the time they call him simply Murdock or "Mr Murdock". Sometimes they translate his nick name as "Crazy". But I love the way what they call Face. In polish it's "Buzka" (read something like "Bushka") - it means pretty, cute, little face (in little ironic way  ). Sorry, if i made any mistakes (I feel that i do...). Kind regards to you all! Welcome, ukyo! Your English is just fine....much better than my Polish! Isn't the show called DRUZHNYA A in Polish or something like this? Anyway, I hope you will continue to post, and don't worry at all if your English isn't perfect! Glad to have another A-TEAM fan from around the world. I love it when a plan comes together....internationally!

How nice to have you on board. I love the Polish nickname for Face - I might start using that. It really suits him.

Ho, girls!  Thank you for your kind walcome! I must admit, that im shame to write in english. I must learning it fast (in school we had russian and german - I remember only russian Letters). amyk, yes, we call it "Drużyna A" (ż you can read like g in George). It means exactly military team. After communism fall in 1989 we got many tv movies and series from USA (Dynasty for example, it was wery popular too) - when I saw mr. Peppard as Blake on pictures I died!  Im glad, that in Poland we do not dubbing movies with actors - we have lector - guy read in polish and still we can hear original voices. @misseclipse, your witam is perfect! yes, Buźka suits nim perfectly. And this word is feminine (she - buźka), so it is commish when they say: "where is Buźka? I can't find him!". I have problem with my fav. It was always Murdock (I love him from the beginning), but now I adore Hannibal and Face. My brother was huge BA fan, and we had some fights like BA - Murdock - I was mad when Baracus offended Murdock, and he - when H.M. made mischiefs to BA. Now my top looks like this: 1. Murdock, 2. Hannibal and Face, 3. B.A..... 10. the others in show. Looks like I must wait till night (in Warsaw we have 13.41 - its 1.43 PM - right now). On the night I made less mistakes I guess (maybe some Malibu drink will help, hehe). |

Well you're only 1 hour in front of me (I'm from England), so any time you wanna chat about all things A-Team, I'm usually on-line during the day. Murdock is my fave too. But I like to think of them all as my second dysfunctional family, so I change my mind on a daily basis. Do widzenia! PS: Google Translator is a wonderful thing! |

Google Translator is pretty good but not perfect, at least not when trying to go from English to German or vice-versa.

I think your English is just fine. I wish my school had taught us another language. All I had was one Spanish class in high school and some at university. Unfortunately I do not know Spanish very well, only English.
You have found perhaps the best little group of A-team fans here!

Yes, we need to learn english, because our own language is twisted and hard to learn from basics. Nobody wants to learn it (and good for him!). I like english language very much, its nice to hear (especially british educated language).

I'm very sorry if I choose wrong place for case like this. I saw "fanfiction section" on this forum, but I think that it will not fix there. Recently I start do some "fanvideos" about The A-Team. Im completely newbie so sorry if my works are not perfect or you don't like songs. If you like it, it will be very nice. All three of your clips were excellent. Good quality pictures and song choices. Nice! I loved how you intermingled the black and white clips with the colour clips in the Court Martial video. It sort of looked like the black and white clips were flashbacks and the colour clips were telling the actual Court Martial story. Very clever. The Murdock video was my fave (no surprises there!). The only clip that was missing for me was the end shot in the Sound of Thunder. The one when Murdock asks Hannibal if he ever thinks about 'Nam.  Just love this picture! |
