I must dig out my NBC episodes of The Big Squeeze & Bounty and check those out. I haven't watched those original NBC broadcasts in a long time, and Bounty is not one of my favorites...LOL. I will check my DVDs and Blu ray set also, curious if it carried over on every release. Thanks for the correction! Last thing I want to do is throw out bad info.
The disclaimer IS on Bounty...LOL..no wonder I didn't realize that since I hardly ever watch that episode. Here I was thinking it had been removed from The Big Squeeze...DUH! I checked my Columbia House DVD from 2002, so it's probably on all the other various releases also.

Was BOUNTY the episode that aired the week following THE BIG SQUEEZE? No, Bounty aired a couple of months later.
I had forgotten the disclaimer starts out by saying something like "On January..." So during the in between weeks the company must have complained causing the disclaimer, and relooping the dialogue for that episode removing the original name.

Ah, yes, I kind of remember that now about the disclaimer. Haven't watched BOUNTY for quite a while. Did you happen to notice a misspelling? I'm thinking it was something like "appology" ?

Rewatched this one yesterday, it's another one that I've seen a few times and have strong memories of. I love Murdock's Philip Marlowe-esque character in this one and how much he annoys BA - the tag scene is brilliant and BA looks great in the hat! The scene where they escape from the police station is priceless! Hannibal is so confident that he can pull it off - it's brilliant - and he even stops to talk to the cop on the stairs. I love how the others - even Murdock - think it's the craziest thing he's ever done and they might be right! It's good to find out more little snippets of info about what happened to them during the war, too and I love the idea that the team have a share in a restaurant. We've talked in another thread about the various business ventures they have a share in, but this one feels more personal because the restaurant owner is a true friend.

And this time they have the share in the restaurant because Sam helped them in 'Nam, so they helped him to set up the restaurant, right? It's a different reason to have a share in something.

They haven't just ended up with shares in the restaurant in lieu of payment for a job, they chose to go into business with Sam because he's a friend and they wanted to help him out. I wonder how often they check in with Sam? It seemed like the protection racket was quite well established so perhaps not as often as they would like.
I love how Face was so proud that he'd been able to scam the glasses and made sure Sam knew exactly where they'd come from!

We watched this the other night. The two youngest were not impressed, which surprised me since my middle son plans to grow up to be a ninja spy. I thought he would enjoy the ninjas. He didn't. He did say that he was Murdock though. All the boys identify with different characters, which is nice. This one is good, but it moves so slowly for me. The mobster stuff doesn't happen until much later and feels tacked on to some degree. I thought the bad guys were a little underwhelming, even though it's always fun for someone to beat up B.A. and match his physical prowess. I do like Murdock's persona in this one. I think it's funny how Murdock thinks Hannibal is crazy after the stunt with the cop's outfit. My wife noticed how the daughter wasn't really there for her acting skills. Overall, not my favorite episode. I think it had good moments, even seeing Face NOT hitting on a woman the entire episode, but it was just kind of bland to me.

Good luck to your middle son with his career plans, Derek! I remember when mine was very young his plan was to be a superhero when he grew up. ) I agree about the mobster part of this episode, it feels almost like an afterthought - unless the writer's were going for a surprise reveal vibe? If so it didn't really work.

The mobster part was unnecessary, since the Lung Chin were already bad enough guys.

I just finished this episode.....even told my husband that it's not one of my favorites but there is a scene that is one of my favorite scenes....and that's the scene at the police station. I do love that one. Especially the cop wanting the other cop to call the guy in psych and tell him there's a guy up there seeing cows.
When the team went to the boat, and they got Face to get the boat's guards to turn their backs so they could sneak up on them, are we supposed to assume they knocked the guards out? Or did they tie them up or what?
