Love B.A in this.
Smirking when Face's car is supposed to get jacked. Jumping in the Vette and warning Hannibal to going after Faceman. Licking up the garage and mentioning H.Ms plant
Face as the car salesman just seems natural
The Hearse is probably one of the iconic scenes
a great episode that covers all the A-Team bases
What was davey's connection to the team supposed to be though?
Obviously he was the brother of B.A's friend, but it just seemed a quick way to get the story moving and the only thing that feels a bit off with the episode

I guess they could not figure out any other way for the team to be hired to go after a gang of car thieves?

Rewatched this one today. It's a fun episode. I like how they introduced us to the person who needed help quickly without spending too much time on the set up, it left more time for the rest of the action. Poor BA gets so upset about his van, but I love how he seems to feel a little sorry for Murdock and his plant too. Face was brilliant! He was only working as a used car salesman for a day if that huge pile of paperwork is anything to go by he must have sold 100 cars! His black eye looked painful, though. We don't often see any of the team get hurt, which is amazing considering the number of fights they get involved in, so it was a bit of a shock to see it! Not much Tawnia, but I think it works just having her helping out when really needed (like going to lots of lunches with Face!) instead of trying to make her one of the team.

We watched this last night. My youngest still had no desire to watch, but the older two found this one interesting and stay glued to the screen.
Face really shines in this one. From worrying about the Vette to running away from a mad B.A. to being the car salesman. It was really a great Face episode overall.
"We're incurable gossips."
B.A. had some good parts in this too. He kept laughing and smiling when Face was going to have to use the Vette as bait. But he was great being mad at everything, including chasing Face around the Vette when Face was cleaning it. "You've never liked my car!" I like how he tells Friendly he was in a pretty good mood and then belts him with the gun.
I didn't care for Hannibal's character overall. It wasn't one of his best.
Do you ever note that in this episode Hannibal carries his gun in his back pocket instead of his waistband? Seems like it would fall out more easily there.
My wife noticed that the police automatically "arrested" the fake cops without even knowing who they were.
I love how the team is going to help the kid with the bad background. Since it was a friend of B.A., I always picture a PROS AND CONS scene that we didn't get to watch where B.A. makes them.
Murdock's plant therapy was fun overall and his worry about it was funny.
Um...where did they get the coffin? Most junkyards don't carry those from what I've seen.
Overall, a really good Season 2 episode.

I'm back at an 8.5/10 for this one. Just like "Knights of the Road" this one is starting to somewhat fluctuate for me. I think I preferred the other Franz episode "Beverly Hills Assault" but he gives a stronger performance here imo. His interactions with Face are the best parts of the episode.

Maybe we're supposed to believe that the coffin was just left inside the hearse at the junkyard....hopefully there was no body in it that they had to leave behind at the junkyard!

I watched this one again tonight.....it's been a while since I last watched it. So many great scenes. One thing that struck me more tonight than perhaps some other times is how shiny and new they made the hearse look in such a short time. I know it's the A-TEAM magic, but it looked basically brand new after they worked on it.
I do love BA's wink at the end, too. So cute.

I think that's why he continued to be a fan favorite. He WAS a softie, even though he didn't usually show it.

I think it was a good move that they put that into this particular episode, since we saw him so very angry over the van to the point of almost squishing Tiny Roscoe's head (even though Tiny really didn't have anything to do with the van) and of course his tantrum knocking all the boxes over at Tiny Roscoe's place. He was also very angry with Face, almost blaming him for the 'Vette not being able to catch up to the van when the bad guys shot the tire of the 'Vette. And he was angry with Murdock offering him a sandwich (although he is often angry with Murdock). He even snapped a bit at Hannibal, when Hannibal said something about BA's gold looking good on him. So this wink at the end softened him up a bit after being especially angry throughout the episode. Or maybe he was no more angry than usual.....in any case, the way he went to the plant and winked kind of left me wondering if BA really was sort of thankful that the plant survived the ordeal. Perhaps it was symbolic of his van surviving the ordeal.

Something I noticed at the start of the episode is the first car that the thieves stole there were already burnout marks on the ground which leads me to assume that they messed up the first take and went with the second take.

Did they really take unnecessary time to make a nifty gimmicky coffin on springs for Murdock to shoot from?? (You know it was his idea...)
I'm... not sure spider plants are outdoor plants.
You have to love how B.A.'s poor van is always getting messed up (I mean, Hannibal drives the thing into water. And amazingly, B.A. doesn't kill him), but somehow is always good as new by next episode... Van has 9 lives... I think they just saw the opportune moment to grab the van when it was just sitting there for the taking. Yup, that was my guess. Take what's available. But weren't they making the vette readily available? They even left the keys in there. A flashy vette would catch a car thief's eye better, I'd think. That was part of Hannibal's plan that should have worked. Just not the comedy gold though, that stealing the van was! That car is, IMO, sort of distinctive, though. They'd have to repaint it pretty quickly. (OTOH, so is the van...) Yes, I would definitely agree that Murdock seems to be the best with accents, alternate voices, etc. But I like hearing from nationals of the other countries about the stuff our guys try to do to appear to be from these other countries. I don't think I could pull off any kind of an accent with any hint of authenticity...only like joking around. LOL... nor could I. People who didn't know any better would get the idea of where it was supposed to be, but that's it. (Though I remember back in high school when I worked at McDonald's, some days when I was bored I'd talk to the customers with a faux-British accent and was asked at least twice if I was from Boston. LOL) I figure my British accent is about as good as my Brit friend's American accent... which had me cracking up when he tried it out on me once.
I think that "pumpkin" is just that gal's term of endearment, but kind of weird to me that she's already using such a term with Face when she barely knows him...and when she is technically Sam Friendly's girlfriend. I wonder if she really does not want to be Sam's girlfriend but is just having to do that in order to have a job or something. Some people just have a term of endearment for everyone. (And heaven help you if I have one for you and you're not my friend... because I have a tendency to pull them out sarcastically when I'm pissed off.) Maybe we're supposed to believe that the coffin was just left inside the hearse at the junkyard....hopefully there was no body in it that they had to leave behind at the junkyard! I'm smelling an A-Team + Weekend at Bernie's crossover here... haha.

I don't think I've ever paid any attention to notice that! Good eye for detail, troublewithharry! But yes, it sounds like they probably did at least more than one take.
