I just was able to watch it in short spurts at a time. One thing I like is how they handle talking about the "feud" between T and GP. I also like how they compliment T on being such a good businessman. And how they said that GP was basically just like Hannibal.

...Anyway, I do really wish they would do some commentary for at least a few episodes....I think they would be so much fun if they did that. Seconded. That would be awesome! It would be a temptation for all fans to buy the DVD set again and make them a lot of money ;D Re. the interview: unfortunately they are telling the same stories over and over, but occasionally there is a snippet of new information. And watching them is always great fun anyway. My only complaint is that I haven't managed yet to download the video This is true, it is similar stuff they talk about but their chemistry is so darn adorable together that I don't mind. I liked how the interviewer said that the fights were so "real." LOL. WTH is wrong with those people? It's about as real as Tom and Jerry.

I like these sorts of interviews...you really get to see the guys turn on the charm, and the chemistry.
One of my friends from the UK met the guys this last weekend, and said that DS in particular was a real hoot. She also got my picture signed for me, so that thrills me to no end! They also had the replica van and Vette there, so she got a nice photo op. ;D

Here's a video from that con of Dirk and Dwight's appearance together (check out Dirk's cute t-shirt, too!)

I think DB's love life in real life may have somewhat paralleled Face's love life with Leslie.....when I have heard him talk about his ex-wife, it still seems like he is hurt over their breakup even after quite a few years.
I agree that DB and DS are so cute together....real friends. Not sure if DB is really Dwight's only friend, but I think he is his closest and most long-lasting male friend probably.
That reminds me of B.A. asking Maria "Would you like to be my friend?"

I thought it was strange that the interviewer plugged The A-Team movie DVD at the end because it had nothing to do with DB & DS and their cameo in the movie doesn't count.

You must be talking about the interview on that talk show, captaincab.....I think we are all now talking about their appearance at the convention from youtube. But yes, I remember thinking it was kind of weird if that interviewer was plugging TAT DVD since he did not even ask them anything about the movie. I had even wondered if there were some sort of "ground rules" or something that he shouldn't discuss the movie with them. Maybe he was afraid what Dirk might say! He should have plugged the original series DVDs! ;D

Both DB & DS had a bit of an awkward look on their face as if to say "Just because it says The A-Team on that DVD doesn't mean we endorse it".
I remember hearing years ago that DB & DS were going to write a book about The A-Team, does anyone know if that is still going ahead? or do they figure they can make more money by appearing on shows/conventions to talk about it directly with the fans?

I went back to watch their expressions....wish the camera had been on them right when the host pulled out the DVD and began talking about it. I cannot know for sure from their expressions what they were thinking as the host plugged the DVD, but it did seem that perhaps they were thinking (especially Dirk) "we're surprised he's plugging the movie-does he know we aren't the stars?" or something along those lines. And then the host called Dwight "Charles Schultz" - well I guess there is at least a Murdock connection since Murdock seemed to draw a pretty good Snoopy in HOLIDAY IN THE HILLS?

I'd guess they're both still pretty miffed about the movie...not only because their cameos weren't part of the actual movie, but because the tone was so different. Who knows?

But most fans seem to say that the tone wasn't really that different, right?

I haven't seen it yet, but comments seem to suggest the violence is upped a bit, but otherwise it's very much in keeping with the spirit of the show. But I do think it was a bit disingenuous of the movie makers to tout the cameos the way they did and then stick them in after the credits, for heaven's sake. Like throwing a bone to a dog...

I can understand if DB and DS are upset about that. I think maybe I would feel sort of "used" although I guess they have both been in "the business" long enough to not be shocked by something like that.

In all honesty, I thought the tone was pretty much the same (updated, so to speak, for 2010). The real change I'd have made would be to ditch the Pike/Lynch/Sosa triangle and throw in a Decker character chasing the Team as they were helping some client. Either that or a true origin story...set in Vietnam, not Iraq. But that's just me beating a dead horse again.
