That's just because Season 4 is so mediocre. Although Season 5 makes Season 4 look like gold!

What does Hannibal do for a living? He recovers valuable object for people. That's a nod to GP's role in Banacek.

I've never seen an episode of Banacek. How is it a nod?

He is a private investigator who solves thefts that are generally very unique or difficult to solve and are of very expensive things, so he is recovering lost valuable things for people.

From my notes: A golf-cart chase? Well, we are getting off to a good start!
I love how B.A. smirks.
It is SO obvious that Hannibal is cheating!
They flipped a golf cart!!!
Is it just me, or has Murdock spent the last several episodes being rather... subdued? I mean, I like Serious Murdock, but...Why would Dr Richter be taking Murdock to his club? Some kind of therapy, I assumed-- don't they play tennis or something? Getting Murdock "out of the house" and being active? (And, I don't know-- we know some people at the VA suspect Murdock is actually sane... what about Richter? Doesn't he kind of say so in the episode where he gets kidnapped? Maybe he hopes if he takes Murdock into the "real world," Murdock might slip and act too normally? Or, if he thinks Murdock is just acting, maybe he hopes if he takes Murdock into the real world, Murdock might get to thinking, "Hey, I want to be out here" and start acting right to get released? {That sounds like a tactic I might come up for my crossover with Sidney Freedman...}) Would face be really happy at this club? or is he just chasing posh girls? Face is kind of a "joiner" and wants to be popular and prestigious... I think he would enjoy hobnobbing with rich and possibly famous people, and being the society man. Look around to see if I was being watched then off with it ASAP!!! how about you? I'd turn it in. I found a $100 bill outside a bank once and went into the bank to hand it in. I would, too, and if it came back to me in the end (no one claimed it), I'd donate it to charity. It's not my money, and I'm not poor to need it, so I figure it should go to someone who does. (I've not found money often... most recently it was $20 in the grocery store parking lot. I turned it in to the office and they said if no one had claimed it in a month or two, they'd call me and it would be mine. They never called... I'm not certain someone went back to the store for 20 bucks {if for no other reason than I'd think they might not know where they lost it, or might not bother to call because they'd think no one would turn it in} and I wondered if it happened to go home with an employee instead of me... but I figured I was okay with that, because the employees likely don't make much and could've used some extra {and, if I'd gotten it back, I was planning to give it to the food pantry anyway, so as long as it got to someone who needed it, that was fine}.) There was some nationwide survey recently where they asked people, if they found $1000 on the street, no indication of who lost it, what would you do. More than 60% of people in my area said they'd just keep it. I was flabbergasted. Especially since we live in an area where there are people who are quite poor, and to them, even a hundred bucks would be a lot to lose. I mean, for many people, a thousand dollars is a fair amount more than their rent for the month, would be a lot of car repairs, etc. {or a good chunk of a new beater car}; I couldn't imagine keeping that kind of money if it was perhaps lost by someone to whom it was a huge deal (not that I can't imagine $1k being a lot of money to anyone).
I like Ashley as a guy's name. I remember when I was a kid, I was sooo confused at Gone With The Wind. "But Ashley is a girl's name??" (Of course, it was the 80s... 'Ashley' was quite popular as a girl's name.) BA with remote control golf balls that defy physics. yes that seemed way over the top to me, even for the A-Team lol It looked soooooo fake! Face is distracted by his reflection. That's awesome. That may be the best moment in all of Season 4. Ooh, I don't think I even saw that. Face is Narcissus. Love it. It's funny when they work in some of this more-high-brow stuff (like with some of the characters being named, or named closely to, famous artists). I just replayed it! He does! Fulbright can't turn on his own shower? This is what MPs do? Part of the reason I would never make it in the military is the power trips some higher-up officers get on. I've heard stories from ex-mil friends that had me like, "...oh, hell no." Like my friend in the Navy, who had a commanding officer who thought it was funny to yell for him to come over, so my friend would run across the ship, just for the officer to make a pun about his name. I'm more one of those people who respects someone above me because they act worthy of respect, not because they have a title, and power trips (messing with people just because they can) do not earn my respect. (Whereas I would go to the ends of the earth for a boss or other coworker I really respected.) I actually don't like that Hannibal fired at Fulbright just then. What if he would have hit him? It's The A-Team... of course he didn't hit him! A-Team are like stormtroopers...

I think by this point, Richter had basically become friends with Murdock, so that their doctor-patient relationship had changed. He may have wanted to treat Murdock to the country club as sort of a "reward" for helping him in THE DOCTOR IS OUT.
