There was another one I know, too. "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me" I remember that Culture Club hit.

How long was the Sheriff dead for? Should his arm have been that floppy? My Step-Dad passed away last year and in a few hours, he was too stiff to bend any of his limbs.

How do you trust a guy named Dash? What's wrong with 'Dash'? I dont get that ether I think that "Dash" just sounds like such a made-up, Hollywood-type of name.

I loved this one. Loved! I want Boy George to be the new sidekick; let's trade in Frankie. (I'm not really that into Boy George/Culture Club, but Boy George kicking in doors with the A-Team... loved it. I may've been more "meh" about it if George hadn't gotten so into it...) This is a moment where I think Murdock really is crazy. He has no reason to go on about the singers in his head. And Hannibal asks what's going on with him. My theory about Murdock has always been that A. he's probably always been somewhat eccentric, creative, silly, fun-loving, young-at-heart, etc. (I've got a part in a fanfic detailing all the ways he's always been called "crazy" all his life...) Actually acting crazy for real probably wasn't as much of a stretch for him as it might be for other people. Plus, once you've been pulling the "insane" act for ten years (I mean, he has to keep up, pretty much 24/7, a persona of being so insane that he has to be institutionalized-- that would take quite some effort and dedication/diligence), I imagine you get so used to it because you have to do it so often and thoroughly that you never really turn it off. (Mind you, I do think Murdock has his mental-health issues; I always assume PTSD, depression, and anxiety-- some of which I'm not sure might not pre-date the war-- but I don't necessarily think things like psychosis, etc. are among the authentic ones.)
(But I did see a site where someone wrote that they think the fact that Murdock does silly stuff even when he's by himself is proof that something with him is a bit off. I don't necessarily agree-- I think to an extent it amuses him {and I daresay most people will be more weird/silly when on their own than when around other people and they have an image of normalcy to maintain}, but that's my interpretation. We need like a whole thread on "the psyche of Murdock," lol.) (But yes, this whole obsession is a bit odd, even for Murdock. Some of his schticks seem to make no sense to me, and this one was at the top of the list. Did somebody just... drop acid and write down all of the ideas they came up with for Murdock while on the trip? LOL)
Can Hannibal even sing? How were they going to fake that? That is precisely what I wanted to know... can he sing, and does he sound enough like this Cowboy George that the guy's fans wouldn't know better? (Or did he have some other plan to get them out of it without him having to sing?) How long was the Sheriff dead for? Should his arm have been that floppy? My Step-Dad passed away last year and in a few hours, he was too stiff to bend any of his limbs. Rigor mortis doesn't last. After a few more hours, it's gone. Though I think "a few more hours" is "many"-- so he'd have to be dead probably a day for it to have passed.

Maybe Hannibal was going to lip-sync?
This is a Murdock obsession that I really like, and to me it does make a bit of sense, because at least he gets to do something that ties in with it by playing that exact song on the radio.

I get it in terms of, understanding having a song stuck in your head. And even wanting to listen to it to scratch the itch. But his thing goes beyond "annoying" into "compulsive"-- which I mean in pretty much the clinical, not the colloquial, sense: that he literally can't resist and it negatively affects his life (success at the radio station).
