Every time I donate blood, I think of this episode...
Nice that a) they have a blood pressure cuff in the van and b) that Hannibal can use it. I always like to think Hannibal has medic training.I still wonder if it was just a glitch that they have the systolic and diastolic reversed (because don't they say "30 over 90"?), or if it's meant to show just how well they get away with total BS... (ETA: Oops, nope, I'm wrong; it's "Mexican Slayride" where they get them backward.)
did the girls drive the van much? I don't remember, I think I remember Amy driving once
google says:
Less than 1% of the U.S. population have AB negative blood, making it the least common blood type among Americans. Patients with AB negative blood type can receive red blood cells from all negative blood types.Yes, though on IMDB, someone points out that AB- folks can receive blood from others besides just other AB- people, so it's not quite as dire as the show makes it sound...
LOL, yes. And where B.A. is rhyming too? A first flash of humor out of B.A.... very subtle.
Is that what the whole beginning was about? Because I was watching it thinking, "Wait, they have jobs they don't take Murdock on?" Like, there are a couple episodes where things are said that make me feel like poor Murdock's a bit marginalized, and it makes me feel bad for him. (And then, practically, I suppose they might make sense-- like, it's got to be a pain to bust him out of the hospital every time-- but still.)
I'm in the "he's not really nuts" camp myself...
I think it's one of those things you just have to accept got happened before the episode started. Too bad, but I get it-- they wouldn't have had time to get into it. Still, a slight explanation would've helped to keep it from having that "wait, what did I miss?" feel. (Like, there are ways of establishing a "there's a backstory that happened before we came in" that don't make you feel like there's additional material that you missed...)
I don't think that's right. Why does he make people jump through so many hoops then when they're trying to hire the A Team?I could probably start an entire thread about how shady I think some of those "tests" are-- they legitimately put people into danger/expect them to put themselves into danger (I'd never manage to hire the team because some of those hoops, I wouldn't jump through). I think I've heard it's supposed to make sure they're not the military (though surely if you wanted to arrest someone badly enough, you'd play the game), and I always figured maybe to make sure the people really REALLY are in need to hire them, like, desperate?
I don't think you would have much leg left if you really got shot with one of these, unless it was just a flesh wound

It did require 60 stitches. 60 stitches is a lot!!!
Google says 2 stitches per cm. So that's 30 cm.We'll go ahead and assume it was nowhere near his femoral artery, then...
I do, too... it seems to smack too closely of having a racist element. (Then again, doesn't B.A. use it to refer to himself once?)
His blood pressure is 90 over 30? Wow. That *IS* bad.

I'm trying to remember if she ever did. I'm impressed by the time Face lets Tawnia drive the 'Vette-- though I have my doubts that Tawnia can drive like a drift racer...
(And I'm actually really surprised B.A. ever lets Murdock behind the wheel of his baby.)
AB negative is a rare blood type?

why is Murdock driving Amy's car? to drive faster?
Presumably he's better at stunt driving if it's needed. (Or, maybe he's just type-A.)
(Speaking of them in her car-- not sure why he's driving after all the action is over, BTW-- does anybody else feel like that little bit at the end where he's singing is just a silly thing he improv'd out of nowhere and they're genuinely laughing at each other?)
I love when Murdock is rhyming his words, I wish he did that more often in the show
If Murdock was written back into this episode, do you think Amy was going to have BA's blood type?
Hannibal says Murdock isn't really nuts. He's said that before. Is he just saying that?
But what happened? How did he cause BA to get shot?
Hannibal says he learns to make fast evaluations when it comes to judging people.
I don't think that's right. Why does he make people jump through so many hoops then when they're trying to hire the A Team?
So apparently BA got shot with a 50 cal bullet, this is a 50 cal..........

I hate when Murdock calls BA mudsucker.
