Did you hear any mention of the jazz other than Amy saying it after they checked into the hotel?

They're in an armoured plated car now. I wonder if they thought of doing that to the van. Sure would be helpful if they had it on the van. BA says, though, that the car their in corners like a semi due to all the armour. good point, surprised they didnt say or do the van up as armoured, maybe they preferred it light and used for quick escapes rather than as a tank?

I loved Hannibal in this one. So cool under pressure.
Why did the girls have to go to Vegas to track down the team? Why were they there?
This was very cruel to do to the girls - make them get on the bus at night... Yes, this is one of those ones where I think this act is really shady. And why is it always women who get the "test" where they have to put themselves in to seemingly-dangerous situations? I can think, off the top of my head, of two really egregious ones, and both involved women. This is one of those ones where I might never manage to hire them if I needed to, because I'm not sure I'd do this. See the curtain behind Face in the van? The van is quite interesting-slash-mysterious. Most of the time we only see the first two rows of seats that the guys are riding in. On rare occasions we see the back, and it seems to be for different things. We know there's a gun safe back there, pretty much all the time. One time there's a back seat folded down into a bed. Another time, Hannibal's got a cute little vanity back there for doing his makeup. Back of the van is like the Room of Requirement, lol. Hannibal looks so handsome, too. It's his eyes. Yeah... I've always had a thing for guys with blue eyes, though I make exceptions. (I actually think DS has nice eyes. They're very expressive.) so much emphasis is placed in the first season on the hiring and the vetting process, we loose that later on in the other series I know, and it's kind of too bad. I wonder why... maybe they stopped wanting to devote air time to it, or maybe they ran out of ideas... Their phone scam with the codes and the beeping on the recorder... That was convincing. They did a good job. I love that face got his money back for the phone call. Yes-- I loved everything about this part! BA looks good in the suit. He does! B.A. cleans up well. BA calls Ellie Momma, he did that yesterday as well to someone as well I believe I've read that's a "thing" in Black culture and also Latin America. (I have a coworker who calls me "mama" and he is the only person in the world who would get away with it... Well, B.A. might, too...) I hate Hannibal's blackface. O...M...G, yes. I wouldn't think this would be acceptable even in the 80s. Some stuff, yeah. But I thought society had advanced to the point of "blackface = bad" long before then. I think I saw a comment elsewhere noting that even the actors seemed to be uncomfortable with it. Did somebody seriously look Mr. T in the eye and tell him they were gonna put Hannibal in blackface?
I mean, it's not even remotely the first time they've done it... Hannibal as Mr. Lee... Face as the Chinese grandfather in "Point of No Return"... Murdock as a (very stereotypical) Indian/Native American in the episode with the wild-west show... seems there was another I'm forgetting... Plus some racially-insensitive comments, esp. out of Murdock, but that was probably less egregious back then.
They're in an armoured plated car now. I wonder if they thought of doing that to the van. Sure would be helpful if they had it on the van. BA says, though, that the car their in corners like a semi due to all the armour. Oh yeah. Armoring a car is no small deal; it adds a TON of weight (I should've mentioned this in the episode where they armor up Amy's little go-kart and expect that to be realistic...). It'd need the suspension built up and probably special tires (well, it would anyway, because armored cars usually have tires that are more bullet-resistant and I think are also run-flats-- but we know that would put the A-Team out of business, lol, not being able to shoot out tires)... would eat gas like nobody's business... wouldn't handle as well... Not something you'd want to do for everyday unless you were in a seriously-dangerous place every day (Bogota, you're the president, etc.).

I don't think the girls tracked the team down in Vegas. I believe that part was in LA. I think it may have been Sunset Strip. And then I think the team traveled to Vegas after the "meet the client" scene. After all, I don't think the girls were even in the rest of the episode, were they? So I don't think the girls went to Vegas at all.

Hmm.....now I'm not sure. Did they have to travel maybe from Vegas? Did they go there with the professor?

I'm not sure. I thought I remembered them talking about how they had to go to Vegas to find the team and that made no sense to me, but maybe I misheard what they said. I'm too lazy to figure out which DVD it's on and watch it... I'll have to check the Youtube clips later and see if that's on one of those.

I thought they mentioned Vegas in that they had gone there to try and track the professor, but then came to L.A. to find the A-Team.

I think HD may be right that perhaps they had gone looking for the professor in Vegas and when they could not find him, then they came to LA to find the team. I wonder how they heard about the team, though.
