Murdock just seems to know how to get under BA's skin and push his buttons. The others can put up with it, but BA is a no-nonsense kind of guy who doesn't have the patience for Murdock's antics. That doesn't mean that he doesn't care about Murdock, since they're all part of the team, but he sees what Murdock does as a distraction from what they should be doing.

I think in the early episodes though they were trying to imply there was genuine hatred between BA and Murdock. I'm pretty sure Hannibal literally tells Amy in MEXICAN SLAYRIDE that BA "hates the pilot". Am I right? |
