I have no luck to see the A Team actors in some other roles. I've seen GP in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', DB in 'Battlestar Galactica' (I think that's the title, for it was so long ago that I can hardly remember him) and Mr T in 'Rocky III'. Unfortunately, I've never really had a chance to see DS in any movie (although there are few which seem interesting). Yesterday, I came across this video. At the end, there is a scene when DB is looking at a snake. He reminds me there of a character from one of my favorite books which is 'The Picture of Dorian Gray'. I remember DB mentioned once that he would like to play a villain and I think he would be an amazing Dorian Gray (unfortunately now it's too late I think, but the way he is getting old in the real life also reminds me of Dorian;)) So here is my question: Are there any roles you'd like to see TAT actors play?

Oh yeah, I have seen Ssssssss! or whatever it is called, if not all the way through, then at least partly. It is a pretty corny movie, in my opinion....best I remember DB is going to turn into a snake because the father of the gal he likes is conducting some experiment on him. I may not have it right, but anyway I think it was pretty corny! ;D

I never did see SSSSS! but I kind of want to now. I've seen BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S, not to be confused with WINE FOR BREAKFAST, and liked it a lot. I never saw DB in anything else. DS I've only seen in one other movie...it's called THE LONG WALK HOME, about the Montgomery bus boycott during the civil rights movement, and he plays Sissy Spacek's husband. He's kind of a villain/bigot in that one, so it was weird to see him play that kind of role. The movie is pretty good; I think it came out in about 1990?
In terms of a role I'd like to see him play, I think he'd be a marvelous Faygin in OLIVER! if they ever re-make it.

I'm glad WINE FOR BREAKFAST makes someone else think of BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S. By the way I have never seen BREAKFAST AT TIFFANY'S. Since I'm hung up on Hannibal these days, maybe I better rent that one and watch it.
I only WISH I could rent WINE FOR BREAKFAST....wouldn't you just love to know what something like that would be about?

It's great that they do so many subtle nods to the actors' previous performances (the Cylon in the credits being the obvious example, but I think maybe that's supposed to be the case with WINE FOR BREAKFAST too?) They could probably fill half a video store with all the fake movies they allude to throughout the series. I myself would love to see the AQUAMANIA series, but not the first one since Hannibal wasn't in it. ;D As to what WINE FOR BREAKFAST was supposed to be about, Amy, I think it's one of those cerebral European imports that no one can figure out. (That's a terrific scene in RANGE RIDER, isn't it? Great way to introduce Decker, as well.)

You know how much I love RANGE RIDER.....as far as I'm concerned, that episode is perfect in every way! And yes, I love the whole scene at the movie premiere. I think one of my favorite ongoing Face "personas" if you can call it that is his whole pretense of being involved in the whole show business/Hollywood scene. And who better to be involved in all that faky glamour and schmoozing with the important people than our beloved Faceman, right?

;D He sure takes to it like a duck takes to water.
I bought the paperback novel adaptation of RANGE RIDER from ebay; it's a lot of fun. Amy...it's slowly but surely climbing my chart, and may land in my top 10 one of these days.

Oh yuck! I think I would hate to READ "RANGE RIDER" - to me, that is one that you really have to see! I don't think I would want to read it as a novel. But maybe it would be better than I think. I didn't even know they would have turned these into little novels! Are they back from when the show was first on? I didn't think it was the type of show they would do that with, like STAR TREK or something.

They're better than you might think. The author (Charles Heath) has a really descriptive, yet playful style that captures the spirit of the show. Of course, maybe since I'm an English major, I love the written word too much! His descriptive passages for Murdock are hilarious. And there's nothing wrong with STAR TREK or STAR WARS tie-in novels (says the geek girl.) ;D

I would still like to see Hannibal as Banacek. I have yet to purchase that from my list, but the entire series is out on DVD. ;D

BANACEK was on Polish TV many years ago but I've never seen it. It's nice that they presented him as investigator of Polish origin. However, no one ever heard any of his proverbs in Poland and his name (in Polish version he was 'Banaczek') sounds more like Czech than Polish

The writers just probably made up all those proverbs! You know us crazy Americans!

Probably, but BANACEK I can see as being similar to the Irish character Hannibal portrayed in THE BIG SQUEEZE. ;D

He did indeed according to what I have read. I have still not been able to watch BANACEK. No store seems to have it in stock and I am not sure I want to order it yet.
