I hate the edit disclaimers

I wish I had a way of turning off the 'edit' disclaimers. Do you know what I mean? The little thing that pops up to say that the post was edited and when it was edited?

I have started to just copy, repost the post, and then delete the one that is missing the comma or whatever.

I don't understand the point of the edit disclaimer. I guess, maybe, to let you know that it's changed if you read it already... But I don't really feel it's necessary.

I looked through my admin panel though, and I don't have a way to turn it off.

I guess I don't care enough to edit a post. Doesn't bother me.

I never bother to put any reason why I edited my post. I don't really care one way or the other if it says that a post was edited. If you can turn it off, I would be fine with it being turned off.

I edited some posts but I never got this edit disclaimer....

But it is showing that your last edit was "4 hours ago" by Nance as I'm looking right now at your last post here. Is this the edit disclaimer that people are talking abou? Or do they mean that thing that shows up when you edit where you can type in a reason for editing?

I hate the thing in the bottom right hand corner in the post. That's what I consider the disclaimer.
If I had more initiative, I'd take a screen cap and circle it in PhotoShop, but I don't really care enough.
