Thanks, Amy! My oldest is helping me work my way back through this show when we get chances, so I'm hoping maybe I can stop by every now and again and post his reactions. His favorite thing so far is pretending to fight me any time the theme song comes on...but I have to be the bad guy. You'd like him, Amy. Hannibal is his favorite.

Awww!! Mine is only two, but I'm looking forward to introducing him to the Team-looks like I won't have to wait long either. Not sure if we've "met" before but welcome back! And thank you for that very comprehensive episode guide you set up quite a while back. I still use it from time to time, especially looking up guest stars that seem familiar.

Cozi-TV is playing the pilot episode right now, and they used Jumpin' Jack Flash. It was like I was sort of watching a new episode for a moment, as I am so used to the dubbed-in DVD version! Yay!

Oh! They just cut it off just after Hannibal says that Amy will be a princess in a world full of dragons and she realizes that he is Mr. Lee, and they briefly showed some closing credits! Guess it will be part two tomorrow night....

How fun! Have you noticed any other differences yet, like footage cut to fit the allotted time? They usually have to cut a couple minutes since there were less commercials back then.
I'm only good at noticing it on my favorite episodes though, like Only Church and Range Rider.

I must admit when watching the series I usually start with children of Jamestown. I know I've said this before, but I don't like the idea of BA getting beaten up. I know in a few fights it is a close run thing, but if they had made quintana nearly beat him or a draw I could have accepted it more. I wonder why Mr T agreed to do it.

I kind of like that in the very first episode, we see that the team is not invincible, at least in the short-term. Of course, they always come through for the final outcome.

When I think about it, there were times when Hannibal stood up to him, in Slayride BA hit Hannibal. I think deep down Hannibal was the only member of the team which did not actually fear him.

I don't know if Murdock really feared BA. And even Face, although he may have whined about BA sometimes. I think that deep down they knew that BA loved them. So not sure they really feared him. But of all of them, I would agree that Hannibal for sure didn't fear BA.

I've got to say, there are times when I wonder. I think it was the episode in plane site, when Face punched Murdock and BA offered to do it. I have unfortunately ran into many people who have incredibly short tempers and it made reference in the show, I think it was Amy who said BA had a reputation for slugging officers. There was also the time when the team were sent to rescue General Ludlum and his daughter and BA said he hit him because BA refused to salute him. Based on people I know with short tempers I think if you upset them and carry on, they will strike out,i guess what i'm trying to say is I think Murdock probably does fear BA as he has a short temper and I don't think Murdock can help upsetting BA with his invisible dogs and things. There are times when BA has attacked Murdock throwing him in the water and I remember him hitting him once. It was offscreen but you heard the noise and saw murock fall back, when they were hiding from geurillas and murdock jumped on BA to keep him quiet as he was waking up from a plane ride / drugging.

I don't remember anything about BA hitting Murdock! Are you talking about in ONLY CHURCH IN TOWN, when they all piled on BA as he was waking up and the Federales showed up at the gas station?
Even when BA was really angry with Face in BLACK DAY AT BAD ROCK, at the end, when it seemed he may hit Face, then he just grinned and didn't really go through with it. However, it seemed that he really would have hit Hannibal hard in IN PLANE SIGHT at the end, if Hannibal had not ducked in time. So maybe even the team does have reason to fear him. As you mentioned, with his short temper, perhaps he does take punches at them on the spur of the moment, but not so much if he has time to think about it (as he did in BAD ROCK).

No,I forget the episode I would have to find it. All I remember is they drugged BA and he was lying on the ground, then BA started to wake and Murdock got on top of him and forced his cap into his mouth. When it was over you saw murdock stagger back and you heard the punch noise and BA said something about if you feed me your hat again sucka. I'll try to find the title, if you find it watch closely and you will see murdock stagger back.
