Oh, that picture, We Luv Frankie! I "die". Every. Single. Time. I wish I could add to the pictorial appreciation myself, but no can do while I'm here at work. So for now I shall continue swooning over yours...

Just finished ONE MORE TIME. I give it a 7. I also don't like it that Murdock isn't with the team until the very end. Plus, I don't like all the voice-overs. And I get a bit bored with the rather lengthy MP chase closer to the beginning. But I do really think Murdock looked worried when he saw Face being brought out to the firing squad. I wonder if Hannibal somehow already just knew Murdock was there, and maybe that's why he was not so worried. He told the missionary and the General to head to the chopper before even knowing for sure that it was Murdock who was responsible for stopping Face's execution (and actually, to give credit where credit is due, it was really Amy). Hannibal must have assumed it was Murdock, since he apparently knew they would have a pilot.

I agree Amyk , Hannibal must have just *known* that Murdock was there or else why to go the chopper. But I find it interesting that no one seems shocked or surprise that Murdock and Amy are there to rescue them. It would have been cute if at the end in the van - the guys would question Murdock and Amy on how they knew where to find them - how they knew the team needing rescuing. Murdock could have come up with some crazy explanation and Amy and Murdock could have just smiled at each other - like a private inside joke. I guess since Murdock saves the team over and over again, they just take it for granted he'll always be there when they need him. And yes, Amy definitely played a role in the rescue

Actually, how could the military not know that they were being followed all the way to Borneo by another airplane? And also, could those small planes really fly from LA to Borneo without stopping for fuel?

The DC 3 has a range of 1500 miles. I don't know how far it is from LA to Borneo?

Maybe they stopped for fuel in Hawaii?

Nancy, I did try to take a couple screen grabs, but the gesture is just too quick. However, I did video this on my phone and you can clearly see Dirk wrapping the gun strap round his wrist. Soz, it isn’t a great recording. I don’t have a state of the art smartphone! Precisely what I meant. Thanks!
It shows that Dirk actually knows how to properly use a rifle. Unlike Dwight and Rambo/any action hero. He does it without thinking. I kept thinking about this. Both George and T served in a military branch. I kept wondering why they didn't use the strap. I think they are trained for laying cover fire. For sniper fire without a gun mount (free hand) a soldier uses the strap for balance. It's good to do that especially for moving targets and difficult positions. Like in hunting. A rifle weighs a ton and even though you can train your muscles to hold the weight it's difficult because you are holding one arm away from the body at shoulder height.
I know this problem in archery as well. But we aren't allowed to use a sling like that.
Thanks for showing the clip.

I wanted to share on Dirks board.

Hi everyone, great to find some fellow A-Team fans here. I've just started watching it with my husband, and I keep saying "oh wow, did you see this bit? Did you see that bit?" and he is singularly unobservant. He does love all the welding though... and the explosions.
Anyway, I figured the "face palm" was more Hannibal covering his eyes in despair. Because from his point of view, there's no plan B and Face is gonna get shot right in front of him. Kind of a guilt / despair reaction.
I loved it when Hannibal and Face tell BA that all their milk got spiked, not just his, and that wonderful line from Face: "That's a terrible thing to do to something babies drink". His moral outrage. Funny!
Really interesting to read all the stuff about the rifle and the strap.
For me, a bit of a shocking moment came when Hannibal et al. are all on the chopper, and Hannibal's calling for Face. I was like, "What if Face can't get himself untied? What if Face can't get to the chopper? What if someone shoots him?". Even though it all ended happily, I am writing a "What if' fic at the moment, that involves Face getting shot in the leg as he stands on the car bonnet signalling the chopper, Hannibal jumps down to help and the chopper has to fly away.
Anyway, really cool to discover this forum and some fellow observant A Team fans.

Oh, what you wrote about what if Face got shot reminds me of something from season 5 (not WITHOUT RESERVATIONS). Since you have not yet seen season 5, then I don't want to write too much about it here, but I think there is sort of one of those "what if" moments in FIRING LINE.

Ooh amyk sounds intriguing! Am really trying not to watch too far ahead and skip episodes out of order but it's nice to know there's some good episodes waiting for me!

I'll be curious to know your thoughts about season 5 once you get there. I guess you are already a bit aware of some pretty significant changes to the show because you watched WITHOUT RESERVATIONS, right?

Yeah I am aware that a guy called Stockwell is around in season 5 but I don't know the details... And i don't know who the heck Frankie is either, except that I know that in Without Reservations he stroked Face's hair, and anyone who strokes Face's hair is okay by me!
Basically i don't really know anything about season 5. I was actually deliberating about whether to watch it cause i heard the series jumped the shark by then.... but i can't bear missing out either!! Do you think season 5 is worth watching?

Oh, definitely you have to watch season 5! While I admit that it is my least favorite season, it still has some excellent episodes, and in a way, I'm glad for season 5 because it is what led me into fanfiction script writing! I had to make the show come out the way I wanted it to because of my dissatisfaction with season 5!
