Final thought - I think GP's onesie outfit didnt suit him at all and was the worst clothing choice that he wore during the entire run of the show... It certainly wasn't his best look! I wonder how much say the actors had in their costume choices?

It's been a while since I last watched this one....and I can't remember what GP wears in it! This is always one of those episodes that is sort of "middle of the road" (in terms of A TEAM episodes) for me. It's not one that I ever really think is super-great but neither is it one of the worst episodes. I feel like there is some "spark" missing in it and that it could have been better although I'm not quite sure what I would do or change to make it better.

Perhaps it was GP's onesie outfit that spoilt the ep Amyk!
Ironically, I thought GP looked really good in the outfit that he wore earlier in the ep when accompanying Tawnia to the bar. If I remember rightly it was a blue shiny jacket, jeans and a cowboy style red handkerchief tied around his neck.
Getting back to Eclipse139's earlier comment, I get the feeling from the Dwight and Dirk's blu-ray commentaries that no-one told GP what to do on set and that he therefore wouldnt wear anything that he didnt like!

I watched this one tonight....I feel like the top half of the van looks more black or dark grey in this episode than in a lot of others. I also felt like the film on my DVD looks pretty "grainy" a lot of the time in this one. I noticed that Tawnia put on a coat over her waitress outfit when they were standing outside after the van chase scene. I think it may have been cold when they actually filmed outside because in another scene (which I think was supposed to be at a different time and maybe a different day, but possibly all filmed the same day), I believe I saw someone's breath.
Sometimes I don't really get that into this episode, but I quite enjoyed it tonight. I don't really like Murdock's fruit bat thing, though.
I think Stephanie and BA are cute, especially at the end. I wonder why Hannibal seemed in such a hurry to leave, though.
I know a lot of fans really don't like Tawnia, but as I've probably mentioned previously, she has really grown on me. I like both Amy and Tawnia. I thought Tawnia was quite helpful in this episode, even if she could not blow up the second truck. And I thought she was cute and funny near the beginning when she was so excited to be with the team on this mission and they were not really sharing her enthusiasm.

Murdock's fruit bat obsession. Wait, why don't I remember this??? (I adore fruit bats... so I might be all about Murdock with a fruit bat obsession.) I think Tawnia is very helpful in this one. And I think she's never more attractive than she is in the jeans, pretending to be Hannibal's girlfriend when they enter the speakeasy. The only thing about that scene is that I really wish she'd had a saucy comeback for "Oh, little lady, you wouldn't!" (Then again, maybe she's a better woman than I... because if it were me, there'd be a bullet hitting the floor at his feet-- and an offer to put the next one somewhere less benign-- to prove she would...) If it fell, it could have so gone off! Right? I don't really know anything about guns. It was a revolver, right? I think they often tend to not have safeties because they're less likely to go off if they fall? Do you think BA ever saw Stephanie again? I'd like to think so, but if they have to travel a long way for this job... probably not. Unlikely they'd ever be in the same place again, and "long-distance" isn't a good way to *start* a relationship... That was a lot of responsibility they gave to Tawnia. I am surprised. Shouldn't Face or Murdock or BA have been in charge of blowing up the trucks? Yeah, I don't know if I ever thought about it like that before, i.e. that they were trusting her with a pretty big job there. Actually, now that you mention it... yeah. Would they have given Amy something like that to do? Also can we take a moment to appreciate the awesomeness that is Reverend Taylor? Bartender: Reverend, I'm not gonna listen to anymore of your preachin'! [raises pool cue to attack] Rev. Taylor: [pulls a shotgun out of his suit] That's fine with me, 'cause I'm done sermonizing. Let us pray. [blows apart moonshine jugs] Badass. LOL, yes! I loved that. (Of course, it's not very pastor-like, so it kind of surprised me, but it was awesome.) I just think it is mainly that BA is shy around women that he likes. I think he would be like that even if he wasn't on the run. I feel like that, too. It's part of what makes Flirty!B.A. so adorable. Murdock was pretty normal and I didn't care for fruit bats or the dentist scene. It seemed like they wanted to give him something, but couldn't decide what to do. Yeah, I thought the dentist bit was weird. I think it was another Murdock "act" but it was odd-- sometimes I wonder why he spends so much time putting on "the act" for just the other guys. I mean, in many cases I get the impression it amuses him, but this one came across as bona-fide "acting nutty" and I would think he'd save that for the people he really needs to convince (as opposed to a lot of his shticks, which are just him being silly).

Didn't Murdock really inhale the laughing gas / nitrous oxide at the dentist's and wasn't that what made him act goofy? Or are you meaning that he was acting weird before he inhaled the gas?

Weird before, yeah. Doesn't he protest having to go because "they're going to knock me out and embed things in my teeth!" or something like that?
(I am so jealous of people who get something fun out of nitrous oxide. I never did. I don't know if they just never gave me enough, or it doesn't really affect me, or what, but it never did much except make my arms feel slightly heavy and my nose stuff up a bit, and I was always baffled when other people would talk about how great it is. When my insurance stopped paying for it, I had no issues giving it up because in my book it's useless {and I'm not anxious at the dentist anyway; mostly I just get bored if it's something long}. I wish I knew what it's *supposed* to be like.)

He was already sweating them selling his lips to a baloney factory. (To be fair, I HAVE used this at the dentist).
I think if he'd had a toothache or something the whole time, it'd be better. It just seemed off key here.

I feel like Murdock was kind of "off key" this whole episode....I had kind of forgotten about the stuff before he went to the dentist, but his thing about fruit bats (and then how it was supposed to just be "fruit gnats") seemed odd to me.
