The A-Team fanfiction site (ateamfanfic.org) seems to be no more. Attempts to go to the site now result in a 404 error.
The site was around during the heyday of the old VA Canteen Yahoo group and the main repository for A-Team fanfics written by members of the group before fanfiction.net caught steam. There were a large number of fanfics on that site that were never added to fanfiction.net. This is a huge and tremendous loss for for the A-Team community.

I was never into reading stuff by others, so I'm not going to miss it. I'm sorry for sounding arrogant, but I only like my story. haha... I did like sss979's series (minus the dirty stuff; I liked the dramatic elements of them) and the odd short, but they are all on ff.net, but I haven't been on that for years.
Once mine developed, I just can't accept any others. It's like I feel mine is perfection and nothing else compares.

No, I wasn't able to save anything from the site before it went down. There was no notice, no email, no nothing so some of my past fanfics are just gone forever - especially the holiday challenge ones (guess the song). The only holiday one I do have is Fire and Ice, which I re-wrote a few years ago on my own.

That sucks, zania. I'm so sorry that you lost your stuff. I hope you can find it somewhere else, like at the sites the colonel recommended.

I think it always pays to save something from the internet if you can, like a video on youtube or wherever, use a site to grab and download it, so then if or when it is taken down you have your own copies of things. but yeah, that sucks

I'm sorry to hear that you lost all of your work. Even though we have a section here, I'm not really a fanfiction person overall. I know it's not the same, but feel free to contribute here. (And as the Colonel says, make sure to save it. You never know).

The Shadowwalker site only links to places when new A-Team stories are posted, or with updates to current stories. They likely wouldn't link to ones removed when a site goes down.

There quite a lot of stories linked via waybavk machine, including four of ss979 which are not published any more. There’s links to some terrible stories too via wayback

I used to go to that site before it closed down. I've tried the wayback machine but couldn't find anything, hense I have no idea how the site works. Did anyone else have any better luck? On the wayback site, you'll see a calendar and then two clickable links above it. Click on 'sitemap of ateamfanfic.org'. Then you get a circle graph with year options at the top. Click on 2013. A new circle graph pops up. You can hold the mouse on each section of the circle to access a specific link. About 6 to the right of center is ateamfanfic.org/index. Click that one and it takes you to the home page of the original site. From there you can access anything that wasn't an offsite link. I copied the link below but not sure it will work since it's archived. web.archive.org/web/20130723165624/http://ateamfanfic.org/index.phpI was thrilled with wayback since I hadn't made my way through all the stories yet and almost everything is still there. Happy Reading!

The link works, but I can’t search for stories. How do you find stories not listed on the front page? I’m specificalky looking fir SSS979 stories, there’s only one in the series on ff now but her profile says there are 19!
