Watched this one tonight. I give it a 10 on the Sidney scale - beyond excellent. I love this one. Joe Scrylo (or however it would be spelled) is one of my favorite characters on the series. I also love how Face pits two groups of bad guys up against one another. That was some good planning by Face, when he told Woody to go and give the "it's the new block captain" password. And I just think the whole things is fun to see the team in the suburban setting.

Murdock is cute as Mr. Rogers, too.

This episode did not age well imo but it beats Season Five though. It's pretty funny and has a unique concept. I need to think about a rating for this one. It's insane that it is viewed as a standout episode on T.V. Com. with 9.2 (used to have a 9.3 from ten years ago). All in all this isn't the best one of Season Four imo.

There's a lot I love about this ep, but it's not perfect. I love the idea of the team living together in a big house in the suburbs. They could have had more fun with that if there had been time in the episode - taking it in turns to cook and do the housework etc! (Huge amount of fan fic potential in this scenario!) I thought Stevie Faith was pretty ungrateful to them though, considering they were trying to protect her, although I did feel sorry for her when she found out she was being used by her manager.
Also I love Murdock riding a bicycle!

Yes, I would also have liked to see more of the interactions of the team as they were living together in the house.....sort of a "three men and a baby" idea except in this case "four men and a rock star."

I rewatched this one today and it's a great episode. It's one I watched recently anyway and I still think it would have been even better if they'd had a few more scenes of the team doing mundane, everyday things while they lived in the house (I love your 'Four Men and a Rock Star' idea, Amy! ), but it's one of the highlights of Season 4 for me. I particularly enjoyed Hannibal making a deliberate effort to rein in his usual confident manner as he tried to stay undercover. He looked genuinely humbled to be made the new block captain. It makes you wonder if he would have been happy to retire and live in a suburban neighbourhood like this one, had things worked out differently? I also loved how he held BA back when they first saw the gang upsetting the little girl and the dog - Hannibal could see the girl's dad was there and although he wanted to intervene as much as BA did, he knew they needed to try to stay under the radar. I'm surprised Hannibal wasn't annoyed with Stevie because she let people see her and recognise her far too easliy - she wasn't even trying to stay undercover. It made me laugh when they first arrive at the house and Face explains all the lovely features of the house to the others and he casually mentions to BA that the upstairs windows will make good gun turrets and the garden could easily be mined - he knows BA is never going to be interested in the usual type of home improvements! I also loved the way Face kept his cool when he and Stevie had been captured and cleverly sent one set of baddies straight into trouble with the other baddies! I thought Joe was a fun character and I particularly liked how he didn't really change, he was still the same irritating, slightly self-important neighbour at the end of the episode.

Yeah, this may be my favorite episode of season 4. Anyway, it's one of the best of season 4 in my opinion. It is kind of strange how they had Stevie made up as Hannibal's mother when they moved in, but then after that, she never seemed to be trying to be too much undercover.....I guess they didn't really expect people to just roam into their backyard, though.
I also love how all the storylines (Joe's preoccupation with preparing for the apocalypse or whatever he was preparing for, the drug dealers, and the Stevie Faith storyline) come together towards the end. And it is great how Face plays the two groups of bad guys off of each other.
