They sure do spook Tracey when they meet up with her.
Young, beautiful girl... Suddenly the cab goes in a direction away from her destination... She pleads 'where are we going?' to the cabbie, then the cab stops and two strange men get in the car.
Do they have to spook her so much?
They do this with the young girls in ATE LAS VEGAS, too. I remember that.
Poor Tracey probably though she was about to be murdered or something.

I wish they had a montage of them making the shaving cream cake. First of all, that is the ugliest cake in existence. Second of all, doesn't shaving cream lose its consistency after a while? It becomes wet and drippy?

I love Murdock falling as he tries to make it to the truck!!! I love Face yelling out COME TO ME MY PRECIOUS! That is such an awesome scene.

The plan is awesome... And teases Face perfectly. I love that Face has to marry her!
You know what I didn't like, but it's really realistic... When Jackie went to the guy at the tv station to interrupt the broadcast, to explain what has been happening to her, the guy went and called the bad guy. SHE is the owner and the boss. But alas, she is not to be respected. The man is who is respected and listened to.

I love this episode.

Like when she asked where they are going and how it wasn't the way to the airport, he could have said something like "It's not the way to the airport, but it is the way to the A-Team!" |

This is probably one of my wife's favorite episodes. She loves the whole Murdock in the dress scene.

I don't know about being the best episode, but there's some top-tier banter in this one.
Hannibal: I've explained it to you before: If we get Jackie in a marriage contract, Calvin can't touch her. If he kills her, you get the money.
Face: But what if he kills me?
Hannibal: Well, then the orphanage in your will gets the money. See, he gets nothing!
...
Murdock: Eh, would you mind delivering this for me?
Hannibal: What is it?
BA: It's that stupid letter he was writing last night, Hannibal. The man is nuts. He's writing Cutter a letter, telling him how sorry and bad he feel for leaving the man at the altar.
Hannibal: [sincerely] He was lucky to have had you, as short a time as he did.
...
Minister: Do you Jaclyn Leigh Taylor, take this man Calvin Cutter to be your lawful wedded husband?
Murdock: [pulls back veil to reveal it's him underneath, and not Jaclyn] Well, I didn't go through all this to see how I looked in white! [throws flowers and runs off]

Yes, those are some of the great lines in this episode. Hannibal's goal, other than saving Jackie, is that Cutter can't get the money! And Murdock is so funny writing that letter to Cutter about leaving him at the altar! And of course Hannibal is always so great any time he plays along with Murdock....maybe he does that just to drive BA crazy.

It's a good episode. Not sure I would claim it as the best in the series either, but it does have some great scenes. I like how B.A. is the only one not hurt in the crash.  |
