Well, this is one episode of THE A-TEAM that I wish had not been made. I consistently seem to rank it very low or maybe even always at the bottom of my rankings, and with tonight's viewing, it has not moved up in my estimation. I'm giving it a 1 on the Sidney scale. Murdock as Logan Ross is not enjoyable to me. And I always am so confused by the plot and never know who the Jaguar actually was. Apparently Jourdan really was paralyzed, right? So was that empty wheelchair at the opera just a ploy by Dominique and/or the Asian man (whose name I still don't know)? But Jourdan seemed to have something in the works about Prince James, based on a conversation he had on his ship, and he also recognized something about Operation Undertow, so was he also in on everything? Did Dominique kill Jourdan? I'm usually just glad to be done with this episode for another round of TAT viewings, and if I were not such a purist when it comes to not wanting to skip any episodes, I would likely just skip this one.

I rewatched this one today. I don't think I dislike it as much as you, Amy, although I agree the plot is confusing. The way I understand it, the bodyguard is actually The Jaguar - apparently the character's name was Frobe, according to IMDb. (The same actor was also in THE MALTESE COW as "Ling, the bodyguard".) It looked to me like Dominique did kill Jourdan because we don't see him again after she shoots him - it was quite violent for TAT, really. I don't quite understand what Operation Undertow was all about, nor what the prince had to do with anything. It was quite fun to have a Murdock-centric episode although his attempt at a James Bond character (and a Sean Connery accent!) didn't feel right to me - Dwight did a good job, but somehow it didn't seem right for Murdock to be playing that character in that way. He was too serious and not 'Murdock' enough. I laughed at Face going mad at Murdock after he was locked out in the rain all night - and Hannibal laughed too! BA isn't in this one very much which is a shame and it's odd to see him in a tuxedo considering how much he has complained about wearing suits before. However, there's very little Stockwell in this one which is always a bonus!

I feel like I'll never actually understand this episode! But, ironically (since I'm chatting about this episode and haven't for a very long time), on today's JEOPARDY episode....the final Jeopardy question was "What is 'THE SPY WHO LOVED ME'?"
