Can you please point out the policy for deleting posts? Where is it posted? I recently had posts deleted and I don't know what I did that went against forum rules and regulations? I never swore. I wasn't inappropriate. Is post deletion just the admin's discretion?

Can you please point out the policy for deleting posts? Where is it posted? I recently had posts deleted and I don't know what I did that went against forum rules and regulations? I never swore. I wasn't inappropriate. Is post deletion just the admin's discretion? Sidney, There is no policy per se. Decisions are made on a case by case basis and, aside from spam, I generally prefer not to delete posts. The posts in question were related to this post in the Sticky Announcement: Sidney and a couple of other members have reached out to say the themes on the forum are still hard for them to read. I have added a new theme to the forum. It is called Military/Army. If you go to your profile, click on Edit Profile, and then go to Settings, you should be able to select this theme from the menu. I am hopeful it will be easier on the eyes to most of you. If you have questions or concerns about it, please PM me or respond in Sidney's "Seriously" thread on the forum. Thanks! In that announcement it mentioned that any questions or concerns should go to my PM box or to the thread you had already started. Instead, it was starting to become a discussion between staff and I feel that those views can be expressed more clearly via PM, especially since other members cannot be part of that discussion in a locked thread. There was nothing that you did wrong and my PM to you letting you know that both of our posts had been deleted wasn't mean to imply that you had. I just prefer to keep announcement and sticky threads used for their intent to inform rather than discussion, especially with other areas of the forum that it can be done. As for the question as to whether or not there should be a more extensive policy, I try not to do that. I prefer people to come here and enjoy talking with others about this great show. As long as there is not a consistent problem with this going forward, I see no reason to become more draconian with more invasive rules, etc. If you have further questions, please let me know.
