I've been lurking around for about a week now. I watched the A-Team as a kid. I recently did a re-watch. I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed the show. Anyway, my name's Stephanie or Steffi for short and I really like the forum so far.

Welcome! I'm fairly new here and, like you, loved the show when I was young, but hadn't really watched it properly for a long time until very recently. This is a great forum, we have some really fun and interesting discussions and it'll be lovely to chat with you here.

Hi, Steffi, and welcome to the forum. We are a pretty informal group, so just launch in and have some fun.

HI steffi, It's nice to meet you. I'm glad you found us.
Eclipse - you're funny. I don't consider you new at all!

That's exactly what I thought when I read Eclipse's post, Sidney.... I feel like Eclipse has been here for a long time! (And that's a good thing, by the way!)
Anyway, welcome Steffi! I look forward to your thoughts, opinions, and insights about one of my very favorite TV shows.

I suppose I still feel quite new because you've all known each other for years! I joined in June last year, Steffi.

Thank you for the warm welcome.
Like you Eclipse, I just recently watched the A-Team again after having not seen it since it's first run in the 80's. For some reason the episode that I remember the most when I re-watched it was the one where Murdock kept asking for trash bags.
I'm glad I found this forum is well. Thanks again for the warm welcome.

That's actually the only episode I have a clear memory of from the 80s, too. I can remember the van scene in PROS AND CONS. You know, at the beginning? When they were all in the van talking? For some reason that is the only scene I can remember from my first time watching the series. I was awfully young though... But still... You'd think I'd remember something more exciting! Even him yelling Trash Bags! or the lawn chair balloon contraption... Instead, I have a clear memory of them in the van talking about the case before hand. And literally, that is the only distinct memory I have of it from when I was little.

PROS AND CONS and THE TAXICAB WARS are the ones that have always stuck with me. I'm sure I saw them when young and they stayed with me. Then, when I saw them again on reruns, I refound my childhood fascination with the show.

Yep. That's what happened to me. About twenty years ago, they did a marathon on SPIKE TV (no longer a channel here). And their marathon was only a handful of eps, but it brought me back to loving them as much as did when I was little.
That marathon had... TILL DEATH, COWBOY GEORGE... Oh, there were, like, eight episodes or something... And they were all I had for the longest time. It took me years to finally see all 98 episodes... I'll try to remember the other ones they showed. They showed them once, and I watched, and then when it replayed it, I taped them with my VCR.

Because I have seen the show so many times since the original run, I really can't remember what I remember from that time.

You know what I especially like, Steffi? That you took the plunge from lurker to poster. I wish more people would. Lurking is kind of creepy.

I have old VHS tapes of some episodes. I should dig those out and do a comparison to the DVDs.

I actually just threw out all the VHS tapes I taped myself off of tv a few months ago.
I kept the official ones I bought off ebay twenty years ago. I spent way too much money on those just to throw them out.
So amazing how much the world has changed in twenty years. Not only do I own them all on DVD now (two sets actually - both purchased from the bargain bin... I couldn't leave them there!) but I have them all digitally now through iTunes.
