You ever have an update start, and the screen says: 'Do not turn off computer'?
I know what happens if you turn off your computer now!
I didn't do it on purpose. My computer ran out of batteries during an update.
I couldn't start my computer! It was frozen! I couldn't even get past the initial black screen!
Anyway, I didn't know it was updating or anything. I was asleep. (I fell asleep while watching an old ep of Game of Thrones.) When I woke up, there was no starting my computer anymore. I had to bring it into the shop and it cost me $35 to get it fixed. He made it sound easy what he did, but I wouldn't have been able to do it. He said he reversed the update? Anyway, I have a computer again! Woo hoo!

Glad you got it fixed for just $35 and that you didn't have to buy a whole new computer or something! I wonder how he was able to reverse the update if you could not even get past the initial black screen. They must have their ways....

I've always wondered what might happen if I did turn it off during an update, sorry you had to find out the hard way! Glad you were able to get it fixed.

I'm glad it wasn't a bigger problem than that. I'm actually one that keeps pushing off updates until my computer just does it.
