I don't do any impressions, but I think it is fun to hear people do them, if they do them well.

Spotted a couple more.
In BAD TIME ON THE BORDER during the scene on the boat, Dwight is clearly mimicking Gregory Peck from "Moby Dick".
HOLIDAY IN THE HILLS after Dwight delivers the guy to airfield and then spots the helicopter. He adopts a distinctive upper class English accent and I think it's meant to be Terry Thomas.

Dwight seems able to do so many different kinds of voices. What was that cartoon that he was a voice on? Anyway, I don't know that he is always mimicking others or just doing his own made-up voice (possibly under the influence of others), but he is fun. He is quite a talented and diverse actor.

In HOT STYLES Dwight is impersonating Cary Grant both before and during the montage scene where Murdock and Hannibal make a boat look like a police vessel.

I just learned recently that Henry Kissinger is still alive....remember Dwight doing him in an episode? Can't remember right now which one.

It was MIND GAMES. It was one occasion where Dwight's mimickry was used to further the plot rather than Murdock just being amusing in the background. I also love the moment within the scene where Murdock does the sound of a plane or something to get back on the front foot in the conversation with Vaughn. Subtle comedy.
Plus we also get a Dwight impression of Bullwinkle. Whats not to like?

Ah yes, MIND GAMES. That's right! From Henry Kissinger to Bullwinkle - Dwight is one talented guy!

I usually recognize most of his impersonations because I think he tends to do a lot of classic movie stars, which is up my alley. Nowadays if someone were to be doing impersonations of current famous people, I probably would not even know who they are impersonating! I often say that so-and-so could come to my front door and I really would not know who they are.

That's why I often don't know who they are... not that I'd necessarily know any modern ones, either...

I am coming to the end of a season 3 re-viewing :-)
In KNIGHTS OF THE ROAD, Murdock mimics Richard Burton on and off throughout.

I'm not so familiar with Richard Burton, so I don't think I ever recognized that one!

In an interview with the Baltimore Sun in 1984 Dwight says he used to practice accents on customers when he worked as a waiter.

Wouldn't it have been fun to have Dwight as a waiter?!
