Pretty much everything the team does is criminal. How many assaults and counts of attempted murder could the team face for each episode where they punch, throw, or shoot at others? The team also commits a lot of traffic violations not limited to speeding, reckless driving, and attempted vehicular manslaughter. I highly doubt that the team has proper documentation through the ATF for the M60 and other fully automatic weapons. They impersonated law enforcement on numerous occasions (in West Coast Turnaround they even acknowledge this by insisting that they run "out of service" signs on their fake police car). Face commits multiple larcenies in his scams. The team possesses illegal explosives on numerous occasions. The list of criminal acts the team commits is too long to list! Basically by the end of the series, the holdup of the Bank of Hanoi is the LEAST serious charge they would be facing! Hi HannibalSmith. I had another legal question. In Road Games Gentleman Jim knowingly attended Royces illegal casino and in a sense legitimately incurred gambling debts. I dont think it was suggested that Royce was rigging the games. I wondered if the debts owed to Royce by Jim would be legally enforceable, noting that the gambling activity was illegal.

Oh that episode always irritates me since he did rack up those debts. I just wish they had shown that the gambling devices were rigged and that they had cheated Gentleman Jim out of his money. Or that they had somehow almost forced him to keep gambling, even if they had drugged him or somehow got him to not be thinking clearly.

As written, its really Gentlemen Jim who is in the wrong. Royce shouldn't have invaded Jims home but the latter should have faced up to the debts he had legitimately incurred, not try to hide from them. The A-Team meanwhile do rig machines and destroy Royce's business, and they shoot bullets towards innocent gamblers. Its Royce that worries about their welfare telling his men not to return fire.

You also do have to sort of wonder if it is in the kids' best interest to live in a foster home with a gambling addict for the head of the household! I guess it is better than a drug addict or an alcoholic, in that I know Gentleman Jim would not harm the children, but still it would be a concern to me to have him as their male "father figure." I just hope he got help for his gambling addiction and really broke free from it.
