We know Face scams for them. But does he have any special forces skills that he excels at? Sniper skills, for example? Or something, anything like that?

I don't feel like we ever hear of any special forces skills that he has. To me, he does not even really seem like "special forces material." I guess that's because I think that to be in the special forces, one would have to be willing to endure extreme training, and we know how Face whines about stuff sometimes.

You aren't wrong... So Hannibal brought him on the team purely because of his scamming abilities? You can't even REALLY say his loyalty, too, because Face leaves the team twice...
What about BA? He's good at hand-to-hand combat, I guess, but really he just throws people.

I would say that none of them really seem like what I consider "special forces," although the definition today is probably very different than in Vietnam.
I think as a team, they are very much a special force to be reckoned with. Individually, they each have their strengths, but they also seem to have overt weaknesses.
Out of them all, I would say Hannibal is likely the best special forces candidate and was allowed to help bring along and develop those where he saw potential.

Yeah, I've always wondered how Face made it in the military... he's very much "I don't wanna do this" or "this is beneath me." And from what I've heard from ex-mil friends... yeah, that wouldn't fly (some have complexes about it). You're not going to get very far in the military (or in combat) if you don't understand the concept of "you do the job that needs to be done."
I guess we could say, maybe Face spent enough time crawling around through the mud doing crappy things that now that he's a civilian, he simply doesn't want to do it anymore?

We do know that, when really needed, Face rises to the occasion. So perhaps when he was in the military, he was more dedicated than we might think. Also, maybe he feels the injustice more deeply than the others on the team and is bitter about it, especially since he, out of all of them, seems to want to live a more "normal" life and now that seems impossible for him to do.
