SEASON THREE In the third season, we see more action than any other season, mainly because it was two episodes longer than both the second and fourth seasons. We see the return of Colonel Lynch, the rise and fall of Colonel Briggs, and the relentless pursuit of Colonel Decker. We also say good-bye to Tawnia Baker after the A-Team rescues her fiancee. In all, the third season is jampacked with more action and adventure...and you won't be disappointed. Enjoy.

BULLETS AND BIKINIS First aired: 9/18/1984 Two girls fly in from Miami to ask the A-Team to save their beachfront hotel because a local gangster destroys their business and offers a lot of money to the bank to get the hotel. So the A-Team flies to Miami, which causes a few problems, but after that, everyone has fun running a hotel for a few days. Writer: Mark Jones Director: Dennis Donnelly Guest star: Vincent Baggetta (Joey), Kimberly Ross (Sandy), Betsy Russell (Tina), Ben Piazza (Councilman Prescott), Jeanna Tomasino (Denise), Tony Giorgio (Unknown), Paul Sylavan (Unknown), Rick Grassi (Unknown), Wanda Penalver (Nurse), Kelly Andrus (Hostess), Richard Brose (Tony), Libby Charlton (Tami), Jeana Tomasina (Denise), Paul Sylvan (Rocky) Commentary:Really only a three bullet for me. We don't see Tawnia, even though she is still a guest star in the series. We see lots of pretty girls as they try to save the hotel, but as usual, they get kidnapped so the A-Team has to build a contraption to catch them. Not a horrible episode, but not one that I would watch a lot. Notes:- This episode was not actually filmed in Miami. It was filmed in Los Angeles.
- Tawnia Baker is not in this episode, even though she would return in another episode after this.
Special guest stars:- Betsy Russell would make her first of two unrelated A-Team appearances in this episode as Tina. She would guest star again in the fourth season episode MEMBERS ONLY as Adreian Prescott.
- Paul Sylvan would make his first of two unrelated A-Team appearances in this episode as Rocky. He would guest star again in the fifth season episode ALIVE AT FIVE as Brick Peterson.
- Richard Brose would guest star twice in the A-Team: Once in this episode as Tony and he would be an unnamed character when he guest-starred in the two hour season four premiere JUDGMENT DAY.
- Libby Charlton would guest star only once as an actress in her career. She would be Tami in this episode. It was her only credited acting role...most of the time she was behind the scenes working in Costume.

THE BEND IN THE RIVER (parts I and II) First aired: 9/25/1984 Tawnia asks the A-Team to find her fiancé, an archaeologist last seen on an Amazon expedition that was attacked by a pirate. She doesn't tell the A-Team that they are searching her fiancé, but more importantly the A-Team has to get new Malaria drugs before they can fly to the Brazilian rain forests. In the Amazon's rain forests, the A-Team has some issues locating their target, since they're on unknown territory, but then their Vietnam experience comes to help. Writer: Frank Lupo, Stephen J. Cannell Director: Michael O'Herlihy Guest star: Marla Heasley (Tawnia Baker) , Barry Van d*ke (Brian Leftcourt), Marta DuBois (Bobbi), Mike Preston (Doyle), Sergio Calderon (El Cajon), Rafael Campos (Unknown), Kai Wulff (Unknown), Richard Moll (Churlisco), Don Pedro Golly (Unknown), Eric Holland (Unknown), Danny Wells (Unknown) Commentary:This two hour episode is pretty good in that we get to see a lot of action and that we say goodbye to Marla Heasley. We get to battle communists and see Face get railroaded a couple of times by the girl of the episode. Great guest stars helped this episode be five bullets. Notes:- This episode was filmed in Stockton, California, not on location.
- This is the final appearance of Marla Heasley as Tawnia Baker.
Special guest stars:- Michael Preston (I) would guest star twice on the A-Team in unrelated roles. His first appearance would be in this episode as Doyle and his second appearance would be in the episode WHERE IS THE MONSTER WHEN YOU NEED HIM? as Dunnigan.
- Kai Wulff would make two guest star appearances on the A-Team in unrelated roles even though both characters he played would share the name Krueger. His other A-Team appearance was in the fifth season episode THE SPY WHO MUGGED ME. Kai Wulff is also easily recognizable from his two GREATEST AMERICAN HERO appearances: First as Serge Valenkov in SATURDAY ON SUNSET BOULEVARD; and secondly as Peter in JUST ANOTHER THREE RING CIRCUS.
- Before NIGHT COURT was a hit for Richard Moll, he guest starred in this episode of the A-Team as Churlisco.
- Michael Chieffo (I) would guest star twice on the A-Team. Once in this episode as the assistant director and once in the episode BOUNTY as Mel.
- Devoy White made his acting debut with his role of Ramirez in this episode. It would be one of only two documented acting credits for the man.
- Ivan Sandoval made his one and only acting appearance ever documented on this episode of the A-Team as a laborer.
- Rodger Hoopman(I) would make his one and only acting appearance ever documented in this episode of the A-Team too. He portrayed a Lieutenant.

FIRE! First aired: 10/2/1984 The A-Team is hired by a local fire chief, who has to fight back a violent opponent. Meanwhile the army closes in on the A-Team, while they are following Annie. Writer: Stephen Katz Director: Tony Mordente Guest star: Charles Napier (Colonel Briggs), Paul Gleason (Roy Kelsey), Christopher Penrock (Palin), Alan Fudge (Farnell), Buddy Garion (Vince Rogan), Bradford English (Casey), W.K. Stratton (Unknown), Stepfanie Kramer (Annie Sanders), Terrence Evans (Unknown) Commentary:This is only a four bullet episode for me. While I like the client and her cause, the relationship between Hannibal and the client, and the new addition of Colonel Briggs. The problem is that the whole Briggs angle is forced and we never learn how he became the pursuer nor why he left. Some of it is just too forced, even the end sequence where they fight with fire trucks. Notes:- This is the first and last time that Colonel Briggs is seen. He is said to replace Decker, but he only lasts through this one episode. This is also the last time we see this actor, Charles Napier, guest star on the A-Team.
- Captain Royce works with two of the three military guest stars in this season. Once with Briggs in this episode and once with Lynch in SHOWDOWN!
Special guest stars:- This is the one and only appearance of Stepfanie Kramer on the A-Team as Fire Chief Annie Sanders. She is probably better known for her work as Dee Dee McCall on the series HUNTER.
- W.K. Stratton (I) would guest star twice in the same role on the A-Team. He would play Army Captain Royce in this episode and in SHOWDOWN!
- Not long after his appearance in THE BREAKFAST CLUB, the late Paul Gleason (I) would make two unrelated appearances on the A-Team. In this episode, he would play Roy Kelsey. He would reappear in the fourth season episode THE TROUBLE WITH HARRY as Harry.
- Terrence Evans would guest star once on the A-Team in this episode as an unnamed character. SJC fans might recognize him from the GREATEST AMERICAN HERO episode THE HAND-PAINTED THAI where he played a watchman.

TIMBER! First aired: 10/16/1984 The A-Team intercedes when a union organizer tries to put a small logging operation out of business by burning down one of their trucks. The A-Team hoped for a few quiet days off in the mountains. Writer: Jeff Ray Guest star: Joseph Lambie (John Lawrence), Tracy Brooks Swope (Samantha Lawrence), André Gower (Billy), Ray Beckel (Georgie), Art LaFleur (Unknown), Wiley Harker (Unknown), Shirley Slatter (Unknown), Cindy Roberts (Unknown), Beau Starr (Bull McEwan) Commentary:This is only a three bullet to me. Too many things are forced or not well explained. Murdock's obsession with BigFoot, while fun, is too forced and really did not influence the plot any. As for not well explained, B.A. took a chainsaw to the whole front wall of a bar and yet no one recognized it for what it was UNTIL he kicked the wall down. Notes:- Face refers to a Sasquatch-calling Murdock as "Marlin Perkins."
Marlin Perkins was a famous zoologist and host of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom.
- References:"Monty Python's Flying Circus: The Ant, an Introduction (#1.9)" (1969)
- Murdock sings the Lumberjack song, which original appeared in this episode of Monty Python's flying circus
Special guest stars:- Wiley Harker would make an appearance in this episode as an unnamed character. He would return in the episode LEASE WITH AN OPTION TO DIE and play the character Nicholas Perry. If you watch the GREATEST AMERICAN HERO episode THE RESURRECTION OF CARLINI carefully, you might recognize him in the role of the caretaker.
- Well-known actor Art LaFleur (I) would make his one and only guest star appearance as the truck rental company manager in this episode.

DOUBLE HEAT First aired: 10/23/1984 The A-Team is called in to find an accountant's daughter who has become a pawn in a game between two rival mobsters, but with the interference of the A-Team the gangland war spreads out, endangering everyone. Writer: Stephen Katz Director: Craig R. Baxley Guest star: Dana Elcar (George Olson), Leah Ayres (Jenny Olson), Steven Williams (Eddie Devane), Michael Baseleon (Tommy Largo), Reid Cruickshank (Unknown), Brendan Byrne (Unknown), Jason Edwards (Unknown), Christine DeLeise (Unknown), Burke Byrnes (Unknown), Rosemarie Thomas (Unknown), Daniel Greene Commentary:We get to see the A-Team go head-to-head with two different mobsters, all while trying to get a kidnapped girl away from one of them. It involves them in a major turf war first, then as the A-Team versus the combined might of both mobsters while trying to protect a federal witness. Fun all around. Notes:- Face plays racquetball at the "Holiday Harbor Racquetball" club.
- Hannibal wears a mask/costume of a Sleestak from "The Land Of The Lost" when he's pretending he's Leo the Lizard.
- Continuity: During the final gun battle, Hannibal puts his pistol away to jump over the railing. In the next shot, he's holding the pistol as he jumps over the rail.
Special guest stars:- Probably best known for his role of Pete Thornton on MACGYVER, Dana Elcar would guest star twice on the A-Team in unrelated roles. In this episode, he would play George Olson. He would return for the fourth season premiere JUDGMENT DAY as Judge Mordente.
- Probably best known for his work on the SJC series 21 JUMPSTREET, Steven Williams (I) also guest-starred on the A-Team. He played Eddie Devane in his one and only guest star appearance.

TROUBLE ON WHEELS First aired: 10/30/1984 Hannibal goes undercover in order to investigate employee theft from an auto plant, but things turn out to be bigger and more dangerous than anyone expected. Face can finally live out some of his passions. Writer: Mark Jones Director: Michael O'Herlihy Guest star: Joe Santos (Rudy Garcia), Mills Watson (Hoyt Plummer), James Luisi (Jimmy Durkee), Dennis A. Pratt (Williams), Ken Gibbel (Unknown), Daniel Chodos (Unknown), Don Recasner (Unknown) Commentary:A five bullet episode overall. We get to see Hannibal get kidnapped and see B.A. tinker with new gadgets. We get to see Face dress as a pimp as well as Murdock be the main driver in the final action sequence. Great guest stars helped push this episode over the top. Notes:- This episode would use the musical score TROUBLE ON WHEELS from the episode HOG WILD of the GREATEST AMERICAN HERO for some of the action sequences.
- Continuity: We learn that the team is not really comfortable with Murdock driving in high speed situations, even though he has done so in numerous episodes before and no one ever complained about it.
Special guest stars:- Joe Santos would make his only A-Team appearance in this episode as plant foreman Rudy Garcia. He had previously guest starred on the GREATEST AMERICAN HERO episode SPACE RANGER as Henry Fetchner.
- Daniel Chodos (I) only made one appearance on the A-Team and it was in this episode as an unnamed character. Before this he had guest starred twice on the GREATEST AMERICAN HERO. The first time was in HERE'S LOOKING AT YOU, KID as an aide; the second time was in WHO'S WOO IN AMERICA as Nasher.
- Melinda Moreno would make her one and only documented acting credit in this episode in the role of Mrs. Garcia.
- Michelle Rosas, who would play Melody Garcia, would also make her one and only documented acting credit in this episode.

THE ISLAND First aired: 11/13/1984 An Army doctor who once saved B.A.'s life calls in his debt by asking the A-Team to help deal with gangsters who came to the tropical island where the doctor has built a clinic. The A-Team heads out to fight back, but first they have to get there. Writer: Mark Jones Director: Michael O'Herlihy Guest star: Carl Franklin (Captain Crane) , Lance LeGault (Colonel Roderick Decker), Raul Drake (Johnny Vescari), James Callahan (Captain Fallone), Sonny Landham (Ryker), Alejandro Garay (Mickey), Diego Palacios (Melo), Loyda Ramos (Nora), Gordon Ross (Oldman Jacobs), William Dyer (Old Man Villager), Carole Davis (Falani) Commentary:This is definitely one of the worst of the third season...and maybe the series. It is nice to see the team get a client out of the newspaper, which brings in Decker, but the rest of the episode is forced and just boring. How did a kid take a boat from the island to L.A.? It seems too hard to believe, including the island compound. I could only give this one two bullets. Notes:- Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): Murdock identified the animal he found in the Sherman tank as "Crocodylus Niloticus". Crocodylus Niloticus is the scientific name for the Nile Crocodile, which is found only in Africa and not on a Pacific island.
- Colonel Decker returns as the A-Team nemesis in this episode with no explanation as to why he was replaced and then brought back.
- The island compound is used again in the fourth season episode THE A-TEAM IS COMING, THE A-TEAM IS COMING.
Special guest stars:- Alejandro Garay would make his last of only three documented acting appearances ever in this episode of the A-Team as Mickey.
- Diego Palacios would make his one and only ever documented acting appearance in this episode as Melo.
- Alphy Rivas would make his one and only ever documented acting appearance in this episode as island boy.

SHOWDOWN! First aired: 11/20/1984 Col. Lynch stakes out a Wild West show that has been terrorized by a group of A-Team impostors. While Lynch prepares to fight back, he can count on the fact, that the rest of the team will be there in no time. Writer: Milt Rosen Director: James Fargo Guest star: William Lucking (Colonel Lynch), Xander Berkeley (Sergeant Wilson), W.K. Stratton (Captain Royce), Morgan Woodward (Captain Winnetka), D.D. Howard (Carrie), Michael DeLano (Mason), John Carter (IV) (Parker), Ben Hammer (Unknown), Joe Di Reda (Sarge, bartender), K.C. Winkler (Unknown), Lynnie Ferguson (Nurse Smith) Commentary:This is a five bullet for me, but not by much. I like that Colonel Lynch has come back, but there is no explanation as to WHY he is back or what happened to Decker and Briggs this time. I like the idea of the evil A-Team too, especially since they don't have a Murdock. Notes:- This is the final time we get to see Colonel Lynch try to capture the A-Team. He has been given one more try, but we never find out why nor how the A-Team suddenly knew he was chasing them again instead of Decker.
- Continuity: In the opening sequence, the false A-Team's van drives through the popcorn cart, destroying it. Right before they leave, the popcorn cart is undamaged.
- Continuity: The water in Murdock's room flooded out into the hallway when Face opened the door, yet in later shots, the hallway floor is dry.
Special guest stars:- Michael Delano would guest star twice on the A-Team in unrelated roles. In this episode he would play rock promoter Kyle Mason. He would star again in the fourth season premiere JUDGMENT DAY, but he would play an unnamed character.

SHERIFFS OF RIVERTOWN First aired: 11/27/1984 The A-Team travels to South America where they become the law in a town built to house workers of a power plant that has been experiencing a number of fatal accidents. The project to get B.A. in a plane get more and more difficult as B.A. has become overcautious. Writer: Mark Jones Director: Dennis Donnelly Guest star: Robert Davi (Boyle), Wendy Kilbourne (Nikki), Ismael 'East' Carlo (Cordoba), Ed Gilbert (Wilkins), James Lough (Unknown), Will MacMillan (Unknown), Curtis Taylor (Unknown), Bryan McGuire (Unknown), Elsa Raven (Unknown), Chip Johnson (Unknown) Commentary:This is only three bullets for me. I like the character interaction, especially with B.A. being upset and trying to lash out at the team for making him fly. There are some great fight scenes and Face has a priceless encounter with the lady of the episode. However, the disappearing workers that were being used to make an explosive is just too forced and too easily overcome by the team to make this episode super exciting. Notes:- There is no Republic of San Marcos in South America.
- The "Heart of Rock and Roll" is playing in the background in the starting scene.
- Murdock is referencing DRAGNET in this episode.
Special guest stars:- Well-known actor Robert Davi would only appear once in the A-Team and it was in this episode as Boyle.
- This would be Will MacMillan's only guest star role on the A-Team where he played an unnamed character. Before he guest starred here, though, he had two guest star roles on THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO. His first one was in the episode SATURDAY ON SUNSET BOULEVARD as Kerner and his second one was in the episode THE GOOD SAMARITAN as the commander.
- Chip Johnson (I) would only guest star once on the A-Team in this episode as an unnamed character. Before that, he would guest star three times on THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO. His first appearance would be in the episode PLAGUE as Agent Jeff Sharp. He would reprise that role in his second appearance in JUST ANOTHER THREE RING CIRCUS. Finally, he would guest star as Deke in THE PRICE IS RIGHT.
- Clint Carmichael would guest star twice in unrelated roles on the A-Team. His appearance here was as the worker. His second appearance would be in the episode THE BIG SQUEEZE as an aide.

THE BELLS OF ST. MARY'S First aired: 12/4/1984 The A-Team gets involved in the music business when threats from their old record label prompt a singing group to ask the A-Team for help. Face went to school with them, and can't refuse to help old friends even when there isn't any money to get. Writer: Stephen J. Cannell Director: Dennis Donnelly Guest star: Joseph Wiseman (Zeke Westerland), Deborah Lacey (Charlotte), Robert Desiderio (Luna), Michael Alldridge (Colonel Twill), Reginald T. Dorsey (Billy Rey), Karl Johnson (Unknown), Dawn Mangrum (Unknown), Leslie Kawai (Unknown), Lisa Antille (Unknown), Kathleen O'Malley (Unknown), Robert Hanley (Mel), Thomas Patton (Tim) Commentary:This episode was only two bullets for me. I like that we get to see some background on Face and that him and B.A. are opposing coaches. Murdock even has his hero worship of B.A. in place, but this doesn't help the story become any more interesting to watch. Notes:- Joseph Wiseman is credited as a "Special Guest Star."
- An obvious allusion to the Jimmy Stewart film The Bells of St. Mary's.
Special guest stars:- Joseph Wiseman would make his first and only guest star appearance in the A-Team in this episode as Zeke Westerland. Before that, he guest starred in the GREATEST AMERICAN HERO episode DON'T MESS AROUND WITH JIM as Jim.
- Leslie Kawai would guest star in her one of only two documented acting credits ever in this episode as an unnamed character.
- Thomas E. Patton (credited as Thomas Patton) would make his first of only two documented acting credits in this episode as Tim.

HOT STYLES First aired: 12/11/1984 Face's latest girl friend is rather ungrateful after the A-Team rescues her from local mobsters. Meanwhile the A-Team seems to have two B.A.'s! Writer: Stephen Katz Director: Tony Mordente Guest star: Arthur Taxier (Turian's Assistant), John Moschitta Jr. (Jason Burnett), Liam Sullivan (I) (Dr. Peters), Andy Romano (Mr. Dubio), Markie Post (Rina Turian), Richard Lynch (Johnny Turian), Stephen Liska (Unknown), Eve Smith (Irma), Suzanne Wasson (Louella), Robert Madrid (Barris), Benji Gregory (Eric), Ralph Redpath (Limo Driver #1) Commentary:This episode only gets four bullets from me...mainly because B.A. is only in the closing sequence with Murdock. Murdock spends his time pretending to be B.A. and being dressed up as him to some degree. Some of the sequences are fun, especially with Murdock designing clothing and a great Markie Post guest star. Notes:- Hannibal and Murdock reference the Big Bad Wolf, and blowing down a house with a huff and a puff. This is an allusion to a 18th-century children's fairy tale, "The Three Little Pigs." Each pig builds a progressively stronger house in an effort to ward off the heavy puffing of the Big Bad Wolf.
- B.A. only appears in this episode's final sequence.
- The same van sequence used in WHEN YOU COMIN' BACK, RANGE RIDER? when the van goes off the pier is used again here when Murdock loses control of the van.
- In the boat scene where Hannibal tosses a grenade, you can see it levitating above the floor and being pulled away as the explosion comes from BELOW the deck.
Special guest star:- Arthur Taxier would guest star twice on the A-Team. Once would be in this episode as Turian's assistant. The second time would be in the fourth episode BLOOD, SWEAT, AND CHEERS as Escalus.

BREAKOUT! First aired: 12/18/1984 After Murdock is taken hostage by armed robbers, he and B.A. are named as accomplices and jailed until Decker can come and get them. B.A. and Murdock escape and try to stay alive, while outrunning the Military Police. Writer: Stephen Katz, Mark Jones Director: Dennis Donnelly Guest star: Lance LeGault (Colonel Roderick Decker), Carl Franklin (Captain Crane) , Tawny Moyer (Patty), Melanie Wilson (Nurse Morgan), Joe LaDue (Kyle), Steve Sandor (Deke Logan), Jeff Doucette (Malcolm Jones), Robert Donner (Sheriff), Lenore Kasdorf (Callie Russell), Bruce M. Fisher (Unknown), Joe Unger (Unknown), Justin Gocke (Toby Russell), Patrick Cameron (Sheriff Deputy #2) Commentary:This only gets four bullets from me because Face calls in his entire performance this time. It is a great episode with B.A. and Murdock being handcuffed together and the like and Hannibal chasing them down, but it was not the same without the team element. Even Decker's appearance could not make this five bullets. Notes:- The American flag behind Decker's desk is positioned to his left. Flag etiquette dictates that it be stationed to his right.
- Murdock mentions watching Cannonball Run. He is referring to the 1981 movie starring Burt Reynolds that has to do with cross-country racing.
- Revealing mistakes: Obvious stunt doubles used as the ambulance speeds out of the hospital parking lot. The driver is seen maneuvering unimpeded with both hands on the wheel. Since Murdock and BA were first handcuffed together before leaving the prison camp, this would have been impossible to accomplish (without BA's arm being visible as well).
Special guest star:- Robert Donner would only guest star once on the A-Team in this episode as Sheriff J.C. Bickman. Contrary to popular belief, he never guest starred in the episode THE RESURRECTION OF CARLINI in the GREATEST AMERICAN HERO series.

CUP A' JOE First aired: 1/8/1985 A restaurateur tries to force the owners of a small diner, Cup A' Joe, to sell out to him, after he arranged a new freeway off-ramp to be built nearby. The A-Team takes over the diner for a few days and Murdock is in full cry! Writer: Dennis O'Keefe (II) Director: Craig R. Baxley Guest star: Toni Sawyer (Edith Dutton), Shawn Southwick (Cactus Jack's Secretary), Dave Shelley (Joe Dutton), Lisa Denton (Patty Dutton), John Ashton (Cactus Jack Slater), Claude Earl Jones (Unknown), Gary Lee Davis (Unknown), Herb Mitchell (Unknown), Jim Boeke (Unknown), David A. Penhale (Sergeant Burlow) Commentary:This episode is only about three bullets for me. While I like Murdock's cooking and most of the action sequences, most of the episode was not that memorable or inspiring to watch. It is good, but not on the level of other third season episodes. Notes:- B.A. mentions the Galloping Gourmet.
This refers to a chef (Graham Kerr) and his television cooking show.
- Music: A cover version of Eddie Rabbitt's "Drivin' My Life Away" and a cover version of Jimmy Buffett's "Cheeseburger in Paradise."
Special guest stars:- John Ashton (I), probably best known for his role as Taggart in the first two BEVERLY HILLS COP movies, makes his only guest star appearance in this episode as Cactus Jack Slater.
- Claude Earl Jones would only have one guest star appearance on the A-Team. It would be an unnamed role. In a prior guest star role, he appeared in THE PRICE IS RIGHT episode of THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO as Coach Farley.
- Dave Shelley (I) would guest star once in this episode of the A-Team as Joe Dutton. He had two other appearances in the SJC production THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO: Once as Manny in RESEDA ROSE and once as Atkins in TRAIN OF THOUGHT.

THE BIG SQUEEZE First aired: 1/15/1985 The A-Team opens its own restaurant to lure a ruthless loan shark who has other restaurant owners terrified. But can the A-Team beat this opponent, even after Hannibal's funeral? Writer: Stephen J. Cannell Director: Arnold Laven Guest star: Tony Ciccone (Waiter) , Marshall R. Teague (Travis Mason), Victoria Bass (Jack the Ripper's girlfriend), Wings Hauser (Jack Lane), Joseph Sirola (Nathan Vincent), Al Ruscio (Gino), Janine Turner (Theresa Giani), William Dyer (Claude), Clint Carmichael (Aide) Commentary:This is definitely a five bullet episode. We get to see the A-Team get hired and then rejected by a client, and then go into business themselves. We see Hannibal dress up as an Irishman and Murdock sign up to wait tables, but also to head the union. It makes for some great scenes between them. There is even a funeral for Hannibal after he gets shot! Great episode overall. Notes:- Nathan Vincent's boat is named "The Pride of Italy."
- Hannibal impersonates Irish restauranter Shawn O'Shea III.
- Murdock played Take Me Out To The Ballgame at Hannibal's faux funeral...in the DVD, this is edited to sound like actual funeral music.
Special guest star:- Wings Hauser would guest star twice on the A-Team in unrelated bad guy roles. His first appearance was in this episode as Jack Lane, or known as Jack the Ripper. His second appearance would be in the fourth season episode BLOOD, SWEAT, AND CHEERS as Kyle Ludwig.
