He looks kind of like he is plotting something in that second photo.....if he only had a cigar in his mouth I'm sure he would be making a plan to get rid of that bow tie! ;D

I know you all may hate me for saying it, but I really dislike his performance in THE SPY WHO MUGGED ME! I just feel he is not playing Murdock there but some other character completely. HMM as a playboy bond. Something doesn't feel right. However, for about 30 minutes I was trying to figure out what accent that was meant to be when a hint of Scottish peaked through when they were on the boat. I knew what he was aiming for, it just took awhile to get there Perhaps it says more about me that I enjoyed the creepy cufflinks salesman.

I'm not sure whether to like him or not. He really seems very different, but perhaps I should wait till I watch the whole episode for all I've seen by now are some videos on you tube

For me, he is just too comfortable playing Logan Ross. He reminds me of Reg Barclay when Reg becomes super-intelligent...which is funny for that episode because you have a good reason why Reg transforms into this completely different kind of a guy. But I didn't feel like I had a good reason for Murdock to become so completely confident and then to just turn back into my beloved zany Murdock later. Plus, I feel bad for Faceman having this kind of competition from Murdock, of all people! ;D

That's an interesting way to look at it, Amy. You could contrast it with MIND GAMES and how it was so awkward for him to be that type of supremely confident and suave guy...darn you, you always get me to reevaluate my perspectives! (But I must confess, sometimes I am ruled by hormones when it comes to all things HM. I just can't help it.) ;D

I do admit that I think DS does an excellent job of playing the Logan Ross character.....but for me the problem is not his acting of the Logan Ross character but the fact that it SHOULD be Murdock acting as Logan Ross and it just doesn't seem like that to me - instead, it feels to me like it is DS acting as Logan Ross. Probably not at all the fault of DS....I can always blame the writers! ;D

Awww. Is that DB with one of his sons in real life?
If it were Face, here's my idea for a caption:
"Don't tell anyone, kid, but you're actually HM, Junior!"

Old, but amazing article, Mosame.
I agree that the lack of continuity in the writers does show. That is why you know it is a great episode if written by SJC or Frank Lupo.
I am glad he won't be coming back in a movie form. I think it would demean the original show, especially if it is done in a more serious format.
It's sad that Mr. T doesn't keep in touch with them. But it's nice he and Face do. That is probably why some of their scenes are the best...they were and still are great friends.
