Ok then. Start with the pilot. Back to the very beginning, to a time where dear Templeton Peck was having identiy issues – poor soul.
There is such a lovely set up to this episode. How I have missed this
Ah Amy. She wasn’t so bad really. Well, she was when she started demanding on becoming “one of the guys” but as a side character, she’s an ok gal haha
I am always amazed at the files they have on the guys. It’s amazing that they can look into the future and use pictures that way. No more of this past tense picture taking – nah. They are too beyond my own level of comprehension. Though their foresight is majorly flawed because if they were able to look into the future to take pictures then surly they would have foreseen Faceman having reconstruction surgery to make himself into a whole new Faceman! They have just made more work for themselves by not looking into the future and episode longer lmao
GODZILLA! This scene sums up Hannibal completely lol
It’s BA … and some Faceperson. To be honest, I believe his name should be more hair related because – look at the luscious locks! I’m calling him Hairman from now on.
So BA and Hairman comes a crashing (well, not really crashing … not so casually strolling, maybe?) in.
Go! Go! Go!
Some ridiculous happy child: “Mommy, it’s Godzilla!”
BA: “I ain’t stopping for no autographs, Hannibal”
I will never NOT love the scene where the tour bus is going across raising/lowered bridge and then you next see the head of Hannibal’s Aqua Maniac zooming across the top of the water. Lovely piece of filming right there!
Hannibal is on the Jazz! You can see it in his eyes! Lynch should never have taken the chance going across that bridge
Hairman is NOT happy, Hannibal. He wasn’t impressed at all.
It’s Murdock!!!!That is some class A acting right there … or is it?
??
If I was in a dark alley at night, as heard a noise, I certainly wouldn’t shout “Is anyone there” I’d be hightailing it out of there lol
Yellow people
LOL
Face visiting the elderly priest in the hospital. This is one of my all-time favourite scenes out of the whole show. I can even look past the fact that it’s Hairman, and not Faceman, visiting. But no, this scene tells you so much about Face. I would actually say it is one of the most important scenes of Face’s to date because no matter how many scams he is pulling, how many girls he’s wooing and how many fancy parties he is trying to unsuccessfully integrate himself into, it always comes back to this scene. No matter what he does, he drops it so he can come back and visit Father Whatshisface every Saturday – without fail! And I believe this doesn’t stop either. I honestly believe that even when Face is going through his society change, he still goes back and visits. Why? Because it’s family. Maybe not family in the regular sense, but it’s family regardless and Face will do anything for family. The guys are a family unit and will anything for each other, no matter how much bickering they may do. Now, I had a really piece of text that was going on about Face, but I decided not to include it. I will save that for something special because I know you guys have totally missed me not being here to prattle off my long winded Face analogies: D
Hannibal needs to be given an Oscar for that acting and BA is such a sweetheart with kids.
Hairman is pulling his first breakout!
Hairman and Murdock don’t have as much chemistry as Face and Murdock. Shame lol
Hannibal lied. He said he would give Amy 5 seconds to get in the car but he gave her a whole 10 seconds! Bad move, Hannibal. You need to fall through with your threats. So what is she wasn’t in the car – drive off!
Hairman tries too hard. His acting doesn’t come across as natural…
Hannibal carries BA like he’s made of nothing but air. What a guy
“You’ll be a princess in a world full of dragons” I love that saying, Hannibal! Love it
Murdock, singing and bopping along
Hannibal: “The sleeping giant awakes. How fast can you get us down?”
Murdock, stopping bopping: “You just landed, brother!”
Another small scene I like is the exchange between Hannibal and Murdock shortly after the above. It’s where Murdock is claiming that he shouldn’t be flying because the VA took away his licence. Then Hannibal gives him this small, knowing smile before leaving the cockpit. This is where the debate of is he/isn’t he comes in because that small smile of Hannibal’s says a lot, doesn’t it?
That’s a nice black and white flower print shirt you’re wearing there, Hannibal
Hairman doesn’t have as nice penmanship as Faceman…
BA talking to the townsfolk is wonderful!
The kids following BA are delightful. He is so good with them
BA telling Amy about the Jazz! The Jazz is like putting your finger in a plug socket and feeling all that power coursing through your body haha
Mudsucker. Does that have an actual meaning or was it something made up for the show?
Murdock is loving flying that plane haha. Are able to fly it from either seat though? I would have assumed the main controls would have been in the front seat, however, it was Hairman in the front firing the rifle :/
Oh no – they got caught!
Oh yay – they got away!
Hannibal refers to Murdock as “Howlin’ Mad” a few times in this episode. Does he do this in any other episode?
Hairman, I don’t even want to know where you got that beer from lol
Wow, hearing Amy talking about the Jazz is weird and I still dislike the fact that she essentially blackmailed the guys. That isn’t cool!
And it ends with everyone flying off to drop Hairman off and pick up Faceman in his stead haha
It still isn’t my favourite but it’s not the worst episode out there.
And thus ends my commentary. Still as long as I remember too lol
