I do think she was a beautiful girl - she reminded me of a young Valerie Bertinelli

You know what else - you would think a crack commando special forces team would have a better more subtle covert way to leave a signal for Murdock - rather than painting a huge ATEAM on the roof - the only thing it was missing was some neon arrows pointing to the house.
Also can you imagine how long it would have taken Amy to paint that? and how much paint she would have needed? But to her credit she did a great job - those letters were perfectly uniform and straight
And they ruined that farmer/artist guy's roof! Do you think after the team left - the farmer/artist just left it? Do you think it would hurt the resale value if he ever tried to sell?

They were facing death, right? When he made them run, if they were caught, they were going to be killed, right? So when Martin James sent them out, he was essentially going to hunt them. That's very dark for an A-Team episode. I think JAMESTOWN qualifies as the darkest episode in the series. I will have to make that a thread, won't I?

That part, being hunted, always gave me the creeps. It's pretty terrifying to think about, the fact that you are literally running for your life and being hunted like animals.

The people that owned the farm they hid out in... This is an example of the dad totally being fine with Face making the moves on his daughter.

Love this episode but like most of you I do have problems with the whole Amy thing ..PERIOD. She was already saying she was scared before they even went in the store. If it was me I would have sent her with Murdock and Sheila . One less person to have to worry about.

Maybe Hannibal wanted to scare her. Maybe the whole speech they gave her about accepting death was meant to just scare her. This was her first mission after the pilot, perhaps they were trying to spook her and get her to go running away with her tail between her legs.

here is something else from the episode - I really felt sorry for the guy that Murdock scammed the dynamite from - he was so worried about getting in trouble. I don't know why Murdock couldn't have just signed the form for him ( he could have used a fake name) I wonder if that guy got fired or fined because of it. I wonder how many people throughout the series the team caused to lose their jobs because of scams they pulled. Yeah I think Face is a bit more conscientious with his scams, like in the s1 episode The Out of Towners, after he brings them the rubbish lorry, Face says something about how he has to take the taxi back so the guy can do his night shift.

This is gonna be my official explanation for this scene!

A "warms the cockles of my heart" moment - I liked Murdock holding his arms out to Face at the end as Face runs to catch up with the car.

Well if there's one thing this forum has taught me, it's to always pay attention to what's going on in the background!

Yeah, but even though I've seen the episodes so many times, I still probably miss a lot that's going on in the background. It's just so enjoyable to see what's going on in the forefront most of the time too!
