Over here in England they have just started showing them & started with this one. They never put the Pilot episode on tv, always start as if this is the first one. Prob coz Dirk Benedect starts from this one. Plus, Dirk is very popular over here (well, they all are), probably why he did so well in Celebrity Big Brother over here , coming 3rd, a few years ago. I like this one, because even though I love them all being together, I really like it when Murdock is in his chopper, doing his thing. Plus, I like it when they're relying on Murdock to save them & they have no doubt that he will, they have complete confidence in him, he might be a bit loony, but they can rely on him completely.

I love this episode. And yes, I also love how Murdock comes after the team and won't abandon them.

Oh, I don't know....just watched PROS AND CONS and he didn't seem interested for the most part! Maybe it's too much too fast....

Ohh, really? I would've thought Pros & Cons would appeal to most people. Did he not take to the trash bags scene then?!

He was out of the room during that and during most of the episode. (He has not yet ever sat and watched with me...I just try to pop the DVD in and hope that it may capture his interest...)

He missed a treat there then. Wonder what he'll think when he sees Murdock dressed as a bride! That could make or break him! My dad laughs so much every time he sees that.

then face....."pretty good tighten it up loose that stuff and it just might play on cable"
then my big homie peppard like "now your begging to walk thru the valley of my wrath.......more to the point the chopper got away it'll be here in a hour.................you better cool buddy"

Welcome to the forum, Garber! Love that when Hannibal talks about Martin James walking through the valley of his wrath. Hannibal has so many great lines.

Watched this last night. My wife agrees that the Murdock scam is potentially bad for the construction guy who got him the dynamite. He could have signed. As for Amy, the original script read for Amy's character not to be there, but for Sheila Rogers to be there. It makes more sense in that vein. As some of you may recall, the first season had to undergo some rewrites. The executives at NBC didn't care for Murdock and wanted him written out. However, after all of the love the audience showed him, they had to write him back in. Usually this meant with writing Amy in with him. In this episode, they wrote him in by getting Sheila out of there and coming back. Amy was plopped in with the guys. Do you think you all would have been happier with the sequence in the shed where they talk about death if it had been for Sheila instead of Amy? I don't mind the voiceover. This episode aired right after the Super Bowl and the pilot had aired a week before with its two hour premise. This gave them a chance to get Face involved more readily and not focus so much on the client disguises by Hannibal. I was glad they didn't use it often, but it has never bothered me they did it once. I still love the farm girl telling Face he needs to rest while they are waiting for the bad guys, but Face can't because they have to get Hannibal's boots back. You can tell from the look on her face that she thinks he needs more rest after a comment like that. Sheila Rogers was great as the babysitter in the pilot of THE GREATEST AMERICAN HERO.

If it had been Sheila instead of Amy in that scene with the talk about death, it would have made more sense (because Amy had already faced death with the team back in MEXICAN SLAYRIDE and didn't seem so worried about it then).
