A couple of things I noticed in this episode - BA's signing - I'm fairly certain a few of his signs were legit. I know some British Sign Language (I think there's a bit of overlap with ASL) and in the courtyard it looked like he signed the word for poo / the "you're full of it" rude sign. Although Hannibal embroiders the translation somewhat Also recognised some other signs but would have to rewatch it again to know for sure.

Oops, got cut off. My tablet doesn't like this forum too well. The second thing I noticed is that Amy and Face were sitting REALLY close in the van. I know I posted about Murdock and Face sitting close in Bend In the River, but this is ridiculous! Although they do seem very comfortable together which is nice... it seems like a sibling vibe they have going - except Amy's comment to Tawnia about making Face run a mile by threatening him with a relationship makes me think...maybe she wanted a relationship with him but knew he wouldn't be able to commit? I think she likes him, but she's smart enough to know it wouldn't really work. I miss Amy

The end of this does make me laugh since I heard about Dirk trying to make Dwight laugh at the table & suceeds by the look of it! Would love to know what that was all about. Plus, when Murdock needs a lift back to the hospital Hannibal says, sorry he can't take him coz he's meeting the film guy, Murdock says, thanks I'll wait in the car. Surely Dwight said the wrong lines there! Saying thanks for taking him back, even though he just said he can't.

I think that is just Murdock being Murdock....I think he heard what he wanted to hear from Hannibal and he just assumed that Hannibal would take him. I don't think I've ever thought of it as being a messed-up line, but perhaps you are right!

Yeah, that is typical Murdock. It just seems so, kind of matter of fact. Or maybe Dwight just forgot what he was really supposed to say! Really, he should’ve asked B.A if he could drop him off. He probably would’ve gladly took him back, to make sure he went back in!

Maybe that is an instance where GP changed his line, so maybe he was supposed to say something like, "I'll drop you off on the way to talk to my agent" but maybe he changed the line and then Dwight didn't have time to think to ad-lib any different response?

My kids did not care for this like I thought they would. They didn't understand the fighting scene because they are little. That's probably good since it's a dark episode to some degree.
My middle son found it funny that Murdock went to sleep in the trash bag.
They were not convinced the pool chairs could fly either.
Still a great episode. Face's delivery of the lines about Dr. Pepper and the wrong dust jacket really sell this for me. He and Amy work well together on scams I have to admit.

Not sure the ages of your kids, but if they are quite young, they also probably didn't get the whole Dr. Pepper scam, which is really one of the highlights of the episode in my opinion. Do they even sell Dr. Pepper anymore, by the way?

One of his best scams ever, if not the best, in my opinion. And I like that he has to stay in that character for more than just a short scene. Most of his scams seem to just be a one-scene kind of thing, don't they?

I'm watching this one right now.....I realized something strange this time around. When Amy first goes and meets the warden, before "Dr. Pepper" has arrived, they have that discussion about prison reform. But then we see the warden and Trask watching BA fight in the courtyard, and then after that we see the warden back in that office with Amy and "Dr. Pepper." I'm not sure whose office the warden and Trask were in when they were looking out over the courtyard. Even if it was a different office, does that mean that the warden left Amy alone in his office? If so, couldn't she have done some snooping around to try to get some evidence on him?
Also, and I think this has been mentioned before on this forum, I believe the warden called Trask "Red" in an early scene. That actor is Red West, so I think that may have been a mistake but they kept it in.
I also never really understand why the police didn't arrest Hannibal, Murdock, and BA the first time they were stopped for drunk driving. They also mentioned something about "Yankees," but why would they have thought those three were Yankees?

The Dr. Pepper scam is amazing and just so good. I always love seeing them going through the process. (Especially with the whole Amy going "huh" and Face says "I know what to do", then finds the book.) I would have to rewatch it to see that. (Mayhaps I should watch it right now.) I know nothing about Yankees. But I think as to why they weren't arrested the first time was that people were starting to notice the high rate of arrests and convictions of going to jail, which was why there was stir and the deputy held the sheriff back. I always thought that the sheriff was in on it.

That's what I would have done if I had other things to do. It never really bothered me because it's not uncommon in the world, especially since she showed up ahead of Dr. Pepper. He did call him "Red", but that could have been a nickname too. We don't really know what his first name is in the show. Because the deputy was saying that they had to be more careful. Likely too many trumped up charges and such. I agree with superfandomqueen that the local sheriff's office was likely in on it.

I watched this episode tonight first time in a while, great story appreciate it more now than when I was a child..nice to see Amy had more to do in this one rather than just a background character which is what she was during season 2 In this scene what is Face sat on? There are no seats alongside that part of the van especially so close to the floor? 🤔 Attachments:

The Amy character was, I think, well-used in this episode. Nice how they had her be the one to follow BA and Jace out of the prison to where the fight was going to take place so that she could let the rest of the team know where to go. It did show she had good instinct....I wouldn't even be able to give directions probably if I was following someone at nighttime in an unfamiliar location to a place I'd never been before....
