I like this one a lot too. Murdock's "Did you ever see a hearse go by..." makes me still laugh to this day. We see the B.A. "plastic mohawk head" stunt guy a couple of times, which always amuses me. The fight at the end with Hannibal & Stark is a little bland, maybe it could have been a little better had some good music been added to the whole brawl. I love the teaser before the opening credits, one of the best put together. Although, MANY episodes had great teasers. Harder Than It Looks is another episode with a great teaser. Actually, the only snoozer for me in the 1st season is Holiday In The Hills.

Sometimes I will randomly sing the hearse song. I'll even stop and ask my wife, "How am I doin'?"

It was stuck in my head this morning after I made that post. I walked in the newsroom and sang it to my co-workers, who all looked at me like I was nuts, and I too added the "How am I doin'?"

I always enjoy the earlier parts of this one more than the end. I think that the fight at the end is also bland. But there are still a lot of good things. I think one of the things I like most is the scam that Face and Amy pull when they are getting the bugs sewn onto the clothes.

The fight at the end is definitely bland.
It's a good episode overall, but has a lackluster feel at the end.
My wife gets really tired of the "jazz" talk all the time. It's amazing how often Amy says it in the first few episodes and how they really play it up.
I liked the cop in this one and how they gave the money back. And Hannibal's character was good as the former fighter.

The client in this episode may be one of my favorite clients....not as good as Daniel Running Bear of course! My wife thought Joey in this one and the kid in the OUT OF TOWNERS was the same actor. Then she realized it was just the haircut.

I think you're mixed up....Joey is in PROS AND CONS, not SMALL AND DEADLY WAR.

I just finished watching this episode. Probably don't have a lot new to say about it, but I think I can never remember that the TB scam is from this episode. That is perhaps my favorite of all the VA breakout scams. Especially because they mention Billy again and Murdock's reaction when the nurse says "there is no dog." I love that part. I even watched that scene twice in a row tonight.

I feel there are a lot of good moments in this episode, but that I always attach them to a different episode that I like more. I'm not sure why because I like the episode, but it just doesn't stick very well for some reason.

For me, the ending is what really seems to drag this one down. I think because the amusement park is empty it is not as exciting as it would be if it were full, but I guess they couldn't endanger a bunch of kids. I just find that whole final battle somewhat of a let-down. Once the bad guys figure out the bugs are in the buttons, from there on I just don't tend to really find the episode that fun.

Rewatched this one this evening - not as good as the previous two eps, but there are a couple of stand-out, classic A-Team scenes that I love - one is the TB scam Face pulls to get Murdock out of the hospital and the other is Face and Amy's fumigation scam to plant the bugs. Dean Stockwell is always great to watch and I'd completely forgotten General Fulbright had a twin brother who was a corrupt cop! As you all said previously, I didn't like Amy's comment at the end about the jazz - there's way more to why they do it than that. She really did mention it far too often in those early eps.

Fulbright is triplets.....the other evil triplet is a corrupt border patrol guard in BAD TIME ON THE BORDER! I'll have to look out for him! The casting director must've really liked him.
