It's one of episodes that describes the series the best. Steel is a very fast-paced episode with an engaging story and Crazy Tommy T is a cool bad guy. I'm trying not spoil anything. The setting is perfect for the A-Team. Some of the editing feels off with somewhat of a rushed feeling midway through.

This is definitely one of my favorite episodes. Especially with Face's scams and Murdock with the biscuits. And of course, Hannibal's usual nuts disturbing ways. The fight at the construction sight is one of my favorite fight scenes. Rating: 9/10

I absouletly love this episode, it's got one of my favourite end fights and it has the Vette featured in this so a win win and it also has one of my favourite girls being Mary margaret humes who is so hot in this 😍 Face with the line about being in fights is almost predictable now just before he gets his hands and suit dirty 😄 Murdock singing Roxannnneeeeeee and annoying BA in the process
Hannibal sending the demolition ball crashing on to the bonnet of the car and Hannibal replying with 'nice' always loved that image in the opening credits of seasons 3&4

I especially love Hannibal's line about not letting the bad guys get away with failure to pay FICA taxes or whatever he says there.....oh, and also how he tries to pretend like Tommy T will never suspect Face of tailing him in the flashy 'Vette and Face knowing that Hannibal doesn't really believe that.
Lots of great interactions between characters in this episode.

Rewatched this one this evening and it's one of the best! I've seen it quite a few times over the years. It's so well written, all the characters are perfect with hilarious interactions between Hannibal and Face, BA's 'joke' and a classic breaking out Murdock scene. There's so much to love about it. I love BA's gold hard hat, that always makes me laugh. Do you think he always keeps it in the van in case they get hired for any jobs on building sites? Also love the Universal Studios tour with Face's Cylon moment - brilliant! I also love how concerned Hannibal is when he realises Crazy Tommy T has captured Face - he was joking with Face before about following Tommy in the 'Vette, but he's suddenly very serious once he knows Face could be in real danger. And I didn't miss Amy. I'm not really sure what she could have done in this episode - I assume it was originally written with her in, but there were no obvious places where she could have made any meaningful contribution.

That's the thing about Amy. While I like her and am definitely not an Amy-hater or anything, I can't say I miss her in the episodes that she isn't in. But when one of the four guys isn't in an episode, I do miss them (or when they basically phone it in). But maybe if Amy had been in the entire series, then I would have felt the same way for episodes that she would not have been in. I can't remember what I thought during the initial run of the series or even if I was able to watch it regularly. I'm not sure we yet had a VCR so if I had other activities on Tuesday nights, then I would not even be home to see it. And I did have tap dance lessons on Tuesday nights. I remember watching the show while waiting for the taxi to take me to my lessons (my mom didn't drive and my dad worked out of town). But I don't know when I stopped the lessons and if something else may have prevented me from watching or what. Too bad I don't have some kind of record of my impressions of the show back then!!

I was 10/11 years old during the first run of S2 and a huge fan of the show, but I don't really remember whether I even noticed that she'd left! I can't remember if we already knew it was going to happen - maybe I would have been upset if she'd had a big goodbye scene?
As a young girl I can't particularly remember if I identified with Amy being the only girl on the show - I don't think I did, but other girls may have. Perhaps that was one of the reasons they originally thought they needed to have a female regular character, but they hadn't accounted for the fact that we would all watch it because we loved the guys!

I think I loved Amy because she and I have the same name! But again, I don't recall feeling that upset when she was no longer in it.....as you wrote, maybe I didn't even really realize she was off the show until quite some time. Back then, it wasn't like you could just run to the internet to look up stuff about TV shows like you can now. And I don't think TV Guide ran any kind of article about "what happened to Amy Allen/Melinda Culea?"

I watched this one again tonight. It really is one of my favorites and an all-around great episode. One thing that perplexes me....Mickey says that his payroll was in the building which the bad guys blew up at the beginning....does he also pay his employees in cash? Wouldn't he pay them by checks and wouldn't he have the money to pay them in a bank account somewhere? Oh well, I guess it doesn't have to make sense. It's enough fun without making sense.
"They're trying to rip us off!" The subtitles say that or something close to that for when Denham is running after Hannibal stealing the food catering truck. I really can't understand Denham at all in that scene, which is why I put on the subtitles during the middle of the episode.
This episode really show Hannibal and Face, especially, at their very best, in my opinion.

I dont know for sure, Amyk, but I have a feeling that it was customary in the building trade for workers to be paid in cash even in the 1980s. I think that this because not all workers had bank accounts. I am sure Mickey would have made the correct payments and deductions for tax purposes, unlike Denham.
As with everyone else, I love the ep. The only bit that doesnt work is the guy with camera when Mickey and his niece meet the A-Team.
Picking up on a very old thread, I think that there was a Steve Beers who was a writer/producer who worked on the show from the 3rd season onwards. I will look for his name in Face's wallet next time I watch this.
The dusty fight is perhaps the best one ever. My favourite scene in the ep is just before the fight. Mickey tells the baddies to clear off from the site. The chief henchman refuses, and Mickey finds himself about to get into a physical fight that he couldnt win, except Mickey is suddenly eased out of the way by Hannibal who steps up to confront the aggressor. Its the heart and soul of the A-Team - standing in for ordinary people when they most need the help.

Yes, I love so much about this episode.....I also agree that about the only part which seems out of place is the guy with the camera. If he had somehow tied in later, then it would have made more sense. I thought he was creepy. Like a stalker.
