I don't know what has happened with ladyjay, so I'm going ahead and starting a thread for this next episode, because it has been almost a month since we've had a thread for any fan forum viewing. I watched this one I think back in February, but made some notes about it then, which I'll post here now
I do enjoy this episode. I like TV Murdock, especially when he does that whole I LOVE MURDOCK scene. Tawnia is a terrible spy, though….but I guess in the end they got the job done. I like that Hannibal didn’t realize that Corporal Brown was working for Decker. Do you think her brother let her in on what he was doing and how he was going to back out of being involved with the weapons deal? And why didn’t the weapons buyers just steal the stuff and take off? Why did they go hang out at Harnett’s beach house? Anyway, I love the whole SOUNDS OF WAR gag. I give this one an 8.

Is this the only time Hannibal was fooled by a client? He was usually so good at identifying fake clients and putting them through intense tests.

This episode is actually one of my favourites. It's because of that moment when Murdock does his angry walk. Remember? Tawnia's discovered and Murdock runs to her rescue and he goes in to save her? That little bit about leaving the safety on is funny too. I really liked that moment. I LOVE seeing Murdock heroic like that. <<swoon>>

Yes, he is quite heroic there. This gives me an idea for a thread! Yes, me! Having an idea for a thread!

Well done!
But see, that is one of the moments that defines Murdock for me. He's acting a fool with the remote control the whole time. He's harassing BA with his shtick. He's being silly. But then boom, he turns it off... Runs inside... Focused, directed, defensive... Goes to her rescue, puts her behind him... Then when the situation is under control, he turns it back on and does something silly...
He's such a great character.

Is this the only time Hannibal was fooled by a client? He was usually so good at identifying fake clients and putting them through intense tests. In "It's harder than it looks", the client's daughter (was her name Jenny?) was the girlfriend of one of the baddies who had kidnapped her and didn't want to be rescued. I'm not sure Hannibal saw that one coming! And then her father went and grassed the team up to the Military at the end! In "Moving Targets" the Eastern Princess was also involved with the bad guy and set the team up to get captured. Although I suspect Hannibal probably knew she was the leak! In "BEAST" the air controller and I think the guy who originally hired them was gonna let them crash the plane into the ocean. Good old Amy saved the day. The guys owed her big time for that! And even though Frankie wasn't a client, I think Hannibal was gutted when he found out he was Stockwell's mole.

None of those examples were plants by Decker. He was always looking for a plant by Decker when he put them through all his 'tests'.

Just rewatched. Love this episode. Fast paced.
A sleazy bad guy, Decker's plan is pretty good
Obvious plot hole why the other bad guys just didnt take the weapons and run, but perhaps the opening scene where Harnet is pretty threatening makes them think twice and obvious he is Army so he could pretty much track them down easy enough you think and 'play good guy' if they cheat him
Love the sounds of war scheme and shooting up the house

The Sounds of War gag is probably the thing that sells this one for me. And Decker finding out that he shot up the place he was staying...priceless.

Rewatched this one today, a much better episode than the one before. I agree completely with the previous comments about about Murdock rushing in to save Tawnia from the clutches of Harnett. I was starting to be disappointed that he had been separated from the rest of the team for the whole ep, but then he did that and it was all worth it! Tawnia is less irritating in this ep and it was quite brave of her to put herself in that dangerous situation. I'm wondering how many of these scripts were originally written for Amy? I would have loved it even more if Murdock had gone rushing in to save Amy! It was good to see the team in uniform again. Hannibal has some nerve to walk into an army base, right under Decker's nose and then play that trick on him with the Sounds of War record - a classic A-Team moment! I wonder why Hannibal didn't suspect Charlotte was working with Decker though - maybe because she really was telling the truth about her brother so she wasn't exactly lying to him? I expected him to say something to suggest he did suspect her all along, but he didn't.

That's what I thought when I watched it last night, Eclipse. I think Hannibal was fooled because the case was real. It just happened that Decker was using it too. I like that Hannibal can be fooled at times and still come out on top. This one felt very much like a first season episode in some ways because Murdock and Tawnia were off on their own without the team for most of the episode. I liked their storyline better than the first season ones where they were just catching up though. But I felt it very first season. I always wondered why the bad guys stayed with the guns as long as they did before deciding to just run. Harnett was going to have issues. As for Harnett, I thought Tawnia was brave doing that. Makes me wonder if she was going to tell her fiance about all of her jobs with the paper and the team. My wife says no, she wouldn't tell him, even if he asked. I like Murdock rushing in, but why didn't they question him in the house on where the beach house was? Why tie him up, gag him, and walk him outside where they could be (and were) spotted? Seems like a push to make Murdock go on his little tirade about voting. TV Murdock was fun. I wish they had done a few others. It would be fun to have him done Murdock's Heroes since that gang is very similar to the A-Team in my mind. SOUNDS OF WAR is my favorite part, especially Decker learning about it after the fact. The tank kind of bores me honestly. At least Decker LOOKED shaken up when he was flipped by the shot. They left the Vette behind at the beach house it seemed like. My youngest didn't care to watch. My oldest two were engrossed. My middle son identifies with Murdock and just laughed most of the episode, something funny happening or not. They were all really confused and intrigued by B.A. turning down the volume on Murdock. Overall, not a bad episode, but still not one of my favorites.
