This episode was shown on TV today & for some reason I haven't seen it very much, compared to some, no idea why. I really like this one. I like it when one of them goes off to do something and the others have to rescue him or join him later on and do their own thing elsewhere, we kind of get two things going on at once.
Murdock's makes me laugh when he's taking the money and just licks all the stamps at once and sticks them on!
Murdock winding Face up about the girl is funny, it's not often that happens, although he does bet her in the end.
I always like watching the guys doing the jobs of the companies they're helping. They look very handsome in their uniforms in this episode!
like I think has been mentioned before, when they're doing they expert building you see Murdock's hat & jacket helping & then in the reflection in a piece of metal, yet he's supposed to be stranded in Mexico! 😀. I guess this is just another reason why we love it, the silly things like that that we're kept in. Surely they noticed when editing & stuff, but kept it in anyway. It's a fun show, so it doesn't really matter.

Yeah this episode has got some funny parts! I watched it a little while ago, but yeah I remembered the part where Murdock licked all the stamps at once, I was like, "Whoa that's so unconventional!". He does that so often - subverting everyday normal things and making them wacky or quirky.
Also love how Murdock makes everything into an adventure, the whole Knights of the Road story he has going. Also liked the bit where he's trying to hold Face's hand in the truck to get him to recite the code. I love how tactile Murdock is, especially towards Face.
Yeah Murdock winding Face up about the girl is also one of my favourite bits, how he's so intense and serious about it - especially the way he delivers the line "You, I've been watching you. Can I talk to you for a second?"
And for some reason his line about how it's not good for the morale of the troops to "watch your chief love pilot hit the dirt and cry mayday" stuck in my head all day after watching that episode! It's a great analogy.
But I think we differ Kellie in that I don't like it when one of the team goes off to do something and the others have to rescue him/join him later. I love the episodes where they're all together (or at least, all in the same space) with all the team dynamics. Cause when it's just one guy by himself, without the rest of the team - I feel like no matter what they do, whatever cool stuff they pull off, it only means something when it's seen by the other members of the team. (I guess we the audience see it, but I feel like it only really matters if it's witnessed by the rest of the team).
Hmm don't think I articulated that last point very well (and if anyone can say it better than me or knows where I'm coming from, please jump in!) but anyway. Good to hear your thoughts about this episode!

I guess that's part of what makes Murdock so different to the others, his sense of making a story or adventure out of any case they're on.
I love the bit where he's trying to hold Face's hand in the truck aswell. Would've been cute to see Face hold his hand back!
I do agree with you about the episodes where they're all together, I do like the majority of those ones the best. The few times there's one of them separated, like this one I do like it, maybe as it's just a bit of a change from them altogether. I think I like watching how, when one of them needs rescuing the other 3 react to one of them needing their help. Seeing how concerned they are about the missing guy always makes me smile. I like seeing how close they are & how much they care about each other. Even B.A about Murdock! Like in Bounty, B.A's at his wits end worrying about Murdock & Murdock knows B.A will be really worried about him.

Murdock worried about Face losing his touch makes this episode for me. Especially telling him to go try right now and that he will wait right there.
I love the montage song too

Yeah, that is good. You can tell Face is getting put out by it, if even Murdock has noticed he’s being blown out by the girl! 😀 I think it’s a really, good episode.

"See you later, alligator!" Yeah, I love that montage scene with that song, too. I think the way they paint the little tow trucks is so cute.
