Just finished watching this one again. I give it an 8 on the Sidney scale.
It seems that Face's tie one moment has the grease stain (from the gear) and then soon after does not have the grease stain, and then it seems to magically reappear as Murdock puts another grease stain on it.
We also have Murdock's doppelgänger mysteriously appearing in New Mexico working on that truck when Murdock is off in Mexico.
I really do like the little montage scene when the song "See you later, Alligator" is playing. And I like how Face seems to strike out with the daughter, although we are not really given the opportunity to see what made her apparently change her mind about him by the end of the episode.

I recall watching Knights of the Road episode few times a long time ago but having seen it again after ten years without viewing the spoiler intro was a pleasant surprise. This is one of the episodes that has aged really well imo. It reminded me of The Taxicab Wars with the way how the episode starts out. I found it kind of atmospheric too. Some of the issues had are spoilers so it's hard to talk about them.
Rating: 9/10

I rewatched this one yesterday and I really enjoyed it - it was good to have an ep that goes back to the traditional formula of the team helping a small business, but with the added edge of the drug smuggling plot. It was a great episode for Murdock, especially when he went off to Mexico on his own - usually Hannibal makes Face do that kind of dangerous solo mission. I loved that he posted the money out of the country and made very sure there were enough stamps on the envelope! It made a change that Face wasn't immediately able to charm Jenny even though, of course, they kissed at the end. I don't mind at all that he tries his luck with almost every girl he meets - to me it (usually) seems completely harmless - but it's more realistic when occasionally one of them isn't interested in him for one reason or another.

Yes, that was a nice change to have Face snubbed by the client's daughter. And I also like all the stamps Murdock puts on that envelope!

The breakout feels forced but the setup is still pretty solid. O'Herilhy has a great sense of evenness between action and the story/dialogue/characters with The A-team episodes he has directed.
