I just finished watching this one. I give it a 9 on the Sidney scale. Maybe it should rate a 10, but I didn't want to move it too high up and I don't love it as much as the episodes that I rank a 10, like RANGE RIDER. But I also don't really have any significant complaints about it. I still always wish that we had some news about Speed at the tag scene, or even that we got to see him again, recovering from his coma. We never learn if he comes out of the coma! Hmm.....maybe that's something that someone could deal with in a fanfiction episode...like Speed finally gets to meet the A-TEAM?
The lady in the blue dress (an extra) appears multiple times.
I still think Dirk actually did the stunt of jumping over the fence. If it is not him, they sure did an excellent job making it appear to be him, which would be strange, considering that usually it is very obvious when it is his stunt double.

I haven't seen it in ten years but there's a lot that I forgot about this episode. One thing I do recall is I wasn't in love with this episode a while back but from having rewatched it, this is one of the better episodes in the series imo. I appreciated the art theme and the scam behind it. There were a few missed opportunities but this flows pretty well. Something I noticed is there's a laidback mood/vibe with the direction of this one.

I love this episode and Dennis Franz plays another bad guy he always suited this type of role One thing about this episode I don't like his Facemans choice of car, I haven't watched this in a while but is this the introduction of this particular car. I really don't understand why the script writers wanted Peck to have another car to replace the cool Vette not unless the company the car was hired from needed it back for other work?

Although I don't like how BA has such a negative attitude towards rich people in MIND GAMES, his attitude in this one doesn't bother me for some reason so much. I do think the team (other than Face) would be rather out of place in Beverly Hills.....and so would I. So it is kind of fun to see them in that type of situation. Reminds me of how BA feels about eating at the fancy restaurant in RECIPE FOR HEAVY BREAD too. But, as with RECIPE, we see that Face has connections with Beverly Hills people so we know that Face must spend some significant amount of time there.

Rewatched this one today. It was fun, but not a stand out ep for me. I loved the team walking around the streets of Beverley Hills when they were looking for the art gallery. You'd think Face would have insisted they make a bit of an effort not to stand out though, they really did look out of place in their regular clothes. I'd never considered how scruffy Hannibal looks in that old safari jacket he always wears. I wonder why they didn't do a little more investigating to find out exactly what the baddies were making Speed do for them before Murdock went undercover? (Although I did love the little communication device he smuggled in the parts for.) It was very far fetched - even for this show - that Peggy was able to produce high quality reproductions of famous paintings overnight! The scene with BA getting measured for a suit is hilarious, as is the follow-up in the mansion - it's not often BA has to play a part in scam like that, although he was essentially playing someone very much like himself he still did enough to convince the woman. I agree it was a shame we didn't get to see Speed reunited with his friends at the end of the episode, it would have rounded it off nicely and enforced their connection with him which otherwise seemed a bit vague.

If Peggy is that good of an artist with reproductions of the masters, by now she should be having her original artwork hanging at the Louvre!
