I'm not watching the Super Bowl....no, instead I watched THE THEORY OF REVOLUTION. I liked this one fairly well tonight, and I'm giving it a 6 on the Sidney scale. Frankie earns my respect in this one, and Face, while already having my respect, earns his Bison badge. Those seem to be sort of the two MVPs of the episode. Sadly, I feel like BA doesn't have much to do. This one feels a bit closer to some of the previous seasons' plots, with the team coming alongside the oppressed people and working with them to better their lives and their country. Kind of reminds me of THE ISLAND, but the villain, while still a bit cartoonish, is not quite as cartoonish as in that episode.

I rewatched this one today - I think it's one of the better Season 5 eps. Although the team originally went on a mission for Stockwell, they ultimately saved the towns people just like they used to do all the time, pre-Stockwell. Although the party scene at the beginning was fun and I liked the way they were pushing Stockwell's patience to the limit, it does make their situation seem even more silly - Hannibal even said they could escape any time they wanted. It's too out of character for all of them to choose to stay there and take orders from someone else. (And I wish they hadn't reused the same footage for the party scenes at the end! ) I agree that BA doesn't seem to have much to do which is a pity. They don't really make I like that they developed Frankie's character and made him seem less irritating and more like he deserved his place in the team. I think this is the only time we hear that Frankie is a former paratrooper which was a nice touch. I didn't enjoy seeing Face getting so badly beaten by the baddies when he went to rescue the American prisoners, it's a noticable step up in the level of violence we expect to see in the show. It was good to see the men showing Hannibal respect and following his orders without question after they were rescued, that was a nice touch.

Somehow I don't think Frankie fits the image of being a former paratrooper. But he did show a lot of courage in this episode, and I did like him in this one.
